This place is bloody GOOD! We tried it for the first time in 2016 and was amazed at how nice it was. The large cod, its more like a whale, its huge and delicious.FYI: Dont use Ubereats to order your takeaway from here. Go in and order it because you save a lot! I ordered large cod and chips with mushy peas it was delicious the staff were friendly and helpful, it's quite busy when I was there and I waited until the fish was cooked fresh.

Ordered online but it didn't seem to make ordering/collection any quicker as I still had to queue. Very busy but worth the wait

Called in at 9.15pm on way back from Wimpole Estate. Wasn't sure if they'd still be serving, they were, and we got freshly cooked cod, chips and mushy peas and they were great! Batter thin and crispy, lovely just cooked chips with fluffy middle. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent quality fish and chips, large portions, nice and fresh!

Our order was wrong, instead of 2 sausages and 2 chips it didn't come with the chips, but added 2 sausages and still charged.

Stopped in late one night on the of chance it was open and they still cooked fresh chips for us well pleased

There’s so many good things I can say about this place, personally iv been coming for a while and I see a huge change in customer service there’s a lady with a scarf who’s always smiling even when busy! She’s always talking to me and never gets my order wrong the owner is also very nice, the kebabs are amazing and so is the cod and sausages! I don’t understand how you can hate this place the best customer service went in yesterday and she was talkative and smiling and asked how my day was. will definitely be going back there to try more of their stuff !
