I have been coming here at least twice a month with my partner. The food is soooo good and authentic. Even the green peppercorns are imported from Thailand. You can choose how hot you want your dish, everything is cooked fresh. Cant recommend this place enough

Thai Chef has a nice and cosy atmosphere inside. It is quite small but doesn't feel cramped. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was top notch. We will definitely be back.

Can't get enough of this gem! Most delicious Thai food I've had so far!

I had a great night at this lovely, homely restaurant. The ambience is modern with traditional touches. The menu is packed with a wide range of Thai dishes, all cooked to order.I am struggling to find fault

Fast becoming one of my favourite places for Thai food. Been a couple of times now and everything I've tried has been superb! Hospitality is second to none too, another lovely dinner!

The food was very blah. I had a stir fry duck dish, which didn't have much duck, no Thai basil (as was described on the menu), was hot, sweet but tasteless. The red curry was OK, but again not great. Also they didn't answer the phone for takeaway. When we got there, there two couples dining, so not exactly rushed off their feet. Disappointing all round. Peacock Thai nearby is leagues better, but sadly has shorter opening hours.

Excellent food quirky environment.Very authentic. Fresh ingredients. And well presented. The restaurant is very small. You are able to reach out and touch the tables next to yours. Some won't like this but for me it added to the authenticity. Staff are very pleasant and attentive.A foodie favourite in my book.

Our first visit to the Thai Chef and the food was fantastic. Not only tasty, but beautiful to look at as well. My battered veg starter was delicious followed by a main of sweet and sour vegetables with coconut rice. My husband had satay chicken followed by crispy duck. Great food, service and atmosphere.

The owners have an excellent reputation from their previous restaurant, the Peacock. They have excelled themselves with their new business. The Sunday evening menu at a price of under £10 for three courses is absolutely excellent. The restaurant has very pleasing decor and is very comfortable. We will certainly be regular visitors.
