The Birch at Woburn in Central Bedfordshire

Delicious food, lovely ambiance, excellent staff...what's not to like ? Always a great experience.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Birch today. They have only just reopened and were very busy but everything was great.Every member of staff seemed happy and were all very personable, a great example of how hospitality should be.Food was equally great and we will definitely be back!

Festive menu: soup was delicious. Lamb was good , rosemary mash was tasty but rather overpowering. Huge portion of green beans that were nicely cooked and didn't squeak ! In my opinion an orange vegetable, carrot or butternut squash, would have complimented this plate hugely. The accompanying jus was rich and flavoursome. A lovely lunch at The Birch.

Went to The Birch to celebrate my birthday. Lovely, cosy and family friendly atmosphere. Gorgeous food that looks like works of art and taste divine! Beautiful birthday cake. And the staff are pleasant and see to everyone's needs, even to energetic children! This restaurant never fails to surprise me. Just exquisite and exceptional!

My goodness me!!!!!!!!!!!!! now this is a place worthy of praise to all the staff, especially Holly and Mark, not forgetting the wonderful food prepared by the chefs who can cook. We were a large party, and there were other groups in there too, who I am sure had an equally great experience as ourselves.My advice to you all who read this.....................pick up the phone now, and I am sure you will be pleased with the outcome.

The Birch...... perfect. Cannot fault it in any way whatsoever. The service was brilliant, right from the moment we walked in. The staff exceptionally friendly, sincere and very professional. Always interested in listening to what we had to say. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything cooked to complete perfection. Wish we could eat there every day.

Great food, lovely decor, very attentive staff. And the hanging baskets outside are just amazing. Highly recommended.

Simply magical. First you have big parking space. Beautiful restaurant. Elegant and chic. Who said you cannot bring kids to such places? We celebrated my 10 years old son birthday and his friend. There were other birthday parties. The staff was very friendly and entertaining. The restaurant provided us with a nice birthday cake. Absolutely superb place. Food was as great as the place. The restaurant is very big, lots of place and kids can make noise no problem it's full of parties any way. I recommend this restaurant for family with young kids, romantic evening or any other occasions. They have lots of different corners where you are not on top of each others. Without a doubt you will enjoy it.

On my way back to London I took a detour from the M1 to have lunch at The Birch. The detour proved to be worthy. A nice pub in a country area, well designed, homey, warm and welcoming. Ordered from the menu and had no special requests. The wine list is somewhat extensive - which I liked - and the food was very good, freshly cooked, largely portioned and plated nicely. Warm friendly service, didn't wait long for the food and the NZ Riesling I chose paired well with the swordfish steak I had. Didn't have any dessert...
