Superb Sea Bass. Excellent service. All the staff were very friendly and as they had been told it was my birthday they gave me a card and made me feel special. Very impressed with cleanliness of the toilets. All 4 of us definitely want to return.

It was OK. We have always raved about the food and service at the Black Horse as it was always very good. I had pressed lamb that tasted like cat food and lacked flavour and the burger was just a bit dull. I had treacle tart which was far too lemony so you could not taste the flavour of the treacle. All in all we were a little disappointed on this visit compared to all previous visits. The service was excellent as always.

First time at the Black Horse, treated so well, it was a birthday lunch for my friend, they gave her a card and a sweet tray with an assortment of fruits. Food was excellent, staff very friendly, sure to go again, and recommend to others I know, you won't be disappointed,

One of the top restaurants in the area. Great food and service. Not overcrowded. Very attentive staff.

Loved the mocktails, tofu starter, artisan bread and the cauliflower steak main. Absolutely delicious and excellent service. Overall a great location for an up market date night.

Lovely gastro-pub. Usually excellent but on this occasion a special starter of crab rarebit was very disappointing. It was a blended 'paste' on top of half a muffin but there was no taste of crab and it was generally dry with not much taste of anything. But, the rest of the meal was lovely, the premises is also really lovely and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

What a find this place is!! Superb food, surroundings and service. Overall a great dinning experience. We usually go to the Birch in Woburn but Mark the owner suggested we give this a try and it was superb! There were some fab things on the Menu and after I ordered I saw the Fish and chips on the next table. I have had food envy ever since. Got to to go back soon!
