My family have used this pub over the years so, as I was up from Plymouth, visiting we decided to go there for a meal. Lovely large garden, and even a little train on tracks for the kids. We sat inside the restaurant though as it was a chilly evening. Beautiful pub and the food was great. Service was really friendly too. Can't fault it😊

A rare occasion when all the family were together and we looked forward to a nice lunch together. Table was booked for 1 pm, food eventually arrived at 2.15. It was cold and unappetising and one dish had to be sent back twice before we got what we had ordered. The menu was very uninspired. The occasion was spoilt and we certainly won't be returning. We enjoyed the train though.

Passing by decided to stop - was the best veggie roast dinner I ever had. The girls serving were so kind and funny, the chef also came out, honestly brilliant! What a place to experience a gorgeousness of food! Highly recommended.

A great destination location for lunch...I met a client at the Fancott for a lunch meeting. The team were exceptional and really went the extra mile to make us welcome. The food was fantastic and ambiance of the venue really lent itself to a great meeting, I'll be coming back again for sure

Food was nice, place was quiet. The 2 of us were initially shown to a table close to another couple, in a part of the pub/restaurant that had not a single other person in it! Why? I spotted a more private and pleasant area and we went and sat there. Not sure why they wanted us to sit next to another couple on Valentine weekend.

Great staff and great food. No need to say anymore. Had a great valentines meal. Food excellently cooked and staff friendly and polite. To cap it all there was live music.

We had a motorhome stop over last week January absolutely wonderful. Staff so friendly and accommodating, food exceptional and prices really reasonable. Dog friendly and nice local walk. The pub is a real gem infact, so good we've cancelled our stop over elsewhere so we can return here for another night before travelling on.

Lovely beer garden and play area for children. And a rather nice miniature railway as well. Friendly staff, too.We visited for lunch and the food was maybe just above average, which is why I can only give 4 stars.

Great pub for families, lots of safe playing areas in the pub garden, plus there's a mini railway that runs around exterior of pub! Great food, staff efficient & friendly. Very dog friendly too!
