The Five Bells in Central Bedfordshire

There's a reason why this place is popular, great food, great staff and great prices. Senior citizens,(60+) menu has full size meals and a dessert for £8.25, so grab your mum/dad/gran/grandad or just treat an oldie to a good meal.

Plenty of seats in the beer garden . Needs to be a little bit more sheltered from the car park. Bar staff really nice. Lovely and clean inside . Well kept

We used to dine at the five bells quite often, glad to see the standards are still high, the food good and reasonably priced and attentive staff, I suppose what everyone would like to know is yes I would recommend and I will be going back

We visited this lovely pub around new year. First trip made a reservation second visit because the first was so good visited the next day. They were very obliging and squeezed us in. The food on both occasions excellent quality, quick to come and lovely and hot. Next time in the area a def visit. Well done 5 Bells.

My 19 family members and I visited the The Five Bells this afternoon for a family celebration and everything about it was amazing. All of the main, desert and drinks orders were correct (no small task for a table of 20 at a busy Sunday lunchtime!!) the children’s meals were brought to the table first which was exactly what we wanted and the staff were all lovely and exceptionally helpful, trying as hard as they could to meet any dietary requirements. Everyone really enjoyed their food, which all came out hot and we were all stuffed afterwards. I’d highly recommend it and will be returning soon!

We were part of a large group who went to lunch on the 30th and new years day 2022, fantastic made to feel very welcome. Food was fantastic and hot, staff were great friendly and helpful would give it NINE stars if I could well done THE FIVE BELLS.

Impromptu late lunch on New Year's Day.Driven passed often, but first visit. Will probably become a regular pub for food. Good quality, very reasonable prices and a good menu. Had items from specials board today and thoroughly enjoyed. Nothing fancy, but good pub food done well.Good quick service and nice staff. Nothing to not recommend 🙂

Lovely friendly pub. The staff were lovely and attentive. Service was excellent and food superb. We had the senior citizens menu £8.20 fir main and desert. The chicken curry was delicious and Eton Mess amazing. Very impressed.

Rang ten minutes before going and even though they were busy they fitted us in no problem, really lovely pub, very friendly and attentive staff and the food was superb, I went for the lasagne , Chips and salad and it was excellent.The desserts on the specials board were way too good to resist and I went for the banana split.All in all a really lovely evening at prices that won't break the bank.Well done , Five Stars for the Five Bells 🔔👏👍
