The Five Bells in Central Bedfordshire

Went for my wife's birthday and the food and service was amazing. The staff were so attentive and made my wife feel very special. Food was delicious.Always worth the trip.

The food is basic but very reasonable. Great atmosphere, always busy so booking advised. Staff are very good, friendly and helpful, waitress service at tables.

Good /excellent service even though they were busy at the time when i went .I had Sunday roast which was pretty good I reallyenjoyed it ....For pudding I had Eton mess and that was so lovely I could of had two .The price of this experience was excellent too, A very happy customer!

Professional, accommodating staff. Pleasant atmosphere, clean environment. Warm plates, slightly overcooked cod, delicious sticky toffee pudd! Would definitely come again.

There's a reason why this place is popular, great food, great staff and great prices.Senior citizens,(60+) menu has full size meals and a dessert for £8.25, so grab your mum/dad/gran/grandad or just treat an oldie to a good meal.

My 19 family members and I visited the The Five Bells this afternoon for a family celebration and everything about it was amazing. All of the main, desert and drinks orders were correct (no small task for a table of 20 at a busy Sunday lunchtime!!) the children’s meals were brought to the table first which was exactly what we wanted and the staff were all lovely and exceptionally helpful, trying as hard as they could to meet any dietary requirements. Everyone really enjoyed their food, which all came out hot and we were all stuffed afterwards. I’d highly recommend it and will be returning soon!

We used to dine at the five bells quite often, glad to see the standards are still high, the food good and reasonably priced and attentive staff, I suppose what everyone would like to know is yes I would recommend and I will be going back

Lovely and helpful staff - excellent customer service. A beer garden to enjoy a few drinks. Plant based food options and understanding was poor. But counter

Rang ten minutes before going and even though they were busy they fitted us in no problem, really lovely pub, very friendly and attentive staff and the food was superb, I went for the lasagne , Chips and salad and it was excellent.The desserts on the specials board were way too good to resist and I went for the banana split.All in all a really lovely evening at prices that won't break the bank.Well done , Five Stars for the Five Bells 🔔👏👍
