The Gary Cooper - JD Wetherspoonp had clear menus and good food... Although the portions were little and still a bit hungry. Expecially for the pasta... Something ordered with fries on the side seemed to have enough on the plate. Lolly.

Popped in to Gary Coopers with family yesterday… what a disaster!! We havent been here in ages very disappointed to see how bad its got! Shortage of staff. One female worker was so rude and misterable had face like thunder and bad attitude! food was awful, one of us ordered the hunter’s chicken ( bbq chicken melt) the peas were so hard, chips were ok , chicken was awful very tough and rubbery, we also ordered £2.99 deal of the day fish an chips but half way through eating it, the batter on the fish was uncooked an raw! the ques at the bar was very long , they even told the customers they arnt serving till half a hour there closed??!! Nearly all the tables inside and outside were all left dirty, the floors were dirty! We didnt dare go to the toilets so we left and went to asda. This place has definitely gone down hill. The staff looks depressed and fed up. Its put us all of in returning . Wont be surprised if this carries on the place will be shut down. During the bad reviews lately this place definitely Needs to be investigated!!

Very very busy. Service efficient and food arrived quickly.3 x small plate pizzas - tasty! One was much smaller than the other two! Same happened with the pudding. 3 x mini cookie dough sandwich with ice cream one had a splodge of ice cream rather than scoop. The service staff knew it was unacceptable but served it anyway and only when prompted did he offer to get a proper scoop of ice cream! Wetherspoons don't really care - they know it'll be busy regardless of their quality control as it's cheap! No one cleared our plates and they sat there for hour and half. Service staff ignored my request!

Very disappointing. Food was lukewarm. Why do the 'chefs' think its fine to cook chips and then leave them 'keeping warm' for half an hour before serving them? They are supposed to be hot. Staff a bit aggressive when I complained about beer, claiming it was tested..clearly not on this occasion. I was told not to tell Staff hiw to pour beer, even though it wasn't being done correctly. Won't go back.

Not the best experience I've had at Weatherspoon. Really nice location and would be lovely on a sunny day but only for drinks. Ordered the breakfast and asked for it to be well done. Eggs came out sunny side up. Asked for them to be changed only to have them well done and everything else under cooked. Tea had some much limescale that I could not drink it.

Good food, plenty of room to sit. I like that I can order on the app and be left alone. Toilets are always spotless which is impressive as there are a lot of them and there is a high footfall here some days.

Great pub across from the old Queensway site now with a newish Asda and close to The Grove theatre.Really modern feel to the pub with wide open spaces large windows. Yes the views are mainly Asda and the college but you do see across the recreation ground next door from the side windows.Staff friendly and welcoming plus yet again great selection of beers and the CAMRA beers are lovely.Definitely worth a look if you're trying to find a decent pub in Dunstable.

Not been here for about 6 years due to the food not being any good. Tried again and the same result unfortunately. Service was great! Food was Luke warm at best, chips were cold, eggs were warm and the ham was possibly out of a 99p packet.I didn't complain because I accepted that for a fiver with a drink, you couldn't expect quality. Won't be going again. Perhaps in another 6 years........ As said, the service was great! Very friendly, attentive staff. Nice atmosphere too!

This is probably the worst Wetherspoons I have ever been to. Usually Wetherspoons is excellent on both price and variety, speaking from a vegan and vegetarian point of view. We ordered the vegan breakfast and it came with egg. They agreed to change it but clearly forgot about it and over twenty minutes later one of the staff realised, by which time we had run out of parking at Asda. Therefore I had a refund. My wife had porridge which was cold and undercooked. It tasted more like muesli. My wife also finished hers a good twenty minutes before mine.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning, not too busy surprisingly. Food was really good value for money and eggs were cooked well! Lots of new veggie options to choose from. Quick service.
