The Green Man in Central Bedfordshire

Only had a beer today but it was Timothy Taylor. The whole place felt good, smelled of beef and yorkshire puds. Hmmmm. Everything was good.

Stopped in the middle of a 30 Sunday walk in May on a sunny day without booking. 100+ covers. They just about squeezed me in, and that sausage roll was badly undersold on the menu. It’s f++++++ amazing. Seriously good food. Beer on top form. Cricket outside. What’s not to like?Thanks to the staff, who were actually running to keep up with the pressure and never once dropped their smiles.

Perfect place fora girly catch up with family.Food was lovely, couldn't fault it although ever so slightly on the price side. Varied choice on the menu, something for everyone. Great relaxed atmosphere there too

Lovely traditional pub that has been stylishly renovated. Great food, great beer and lovely service. The cocktails looked very good too and there is a nice sized outside courtyard for drinking and eating in the summer. I will be coming back!

Absolutely amazing food!! The best veggie burger I've ever had! If you haven't been, you must go, you won't regret it. Highly recommended.

Delightful staff, who could not have been more helpful. A lovely atmosphere and a simple but strong menu. We even tasted an English Chardonnay. All in all an excellent night, thank you, we will be back

A fantastic evening all round! The pub itself feels really cosy and has a great eclectic look. The food was simply delicious, having 3 courses was almost a necessity with the options given and we were not disappointed! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive, we felt very well looked after. Make sure you find this hidden gem and give it a go, you'll be glad you did!

Went for lunch today for my wife's birthday and couldn't be happier with the service we had. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent (Double stack burger, Pastrami sandwich and Peanut Butter Brownie pictured) a lovely, well kept pub in a traditional scenic village. Perfect if you're on a day out to Woburn Safari Park or Bletchley Park. Prices are also good for the sizes and quality of food you are getting. We will be back.

Food is to die for! Genuinely some of the best food I have ever had, especially the sticky toffee pudding dessert. Our whole group was raving about how good the food was :)Staff were great, nothing was too much trouble.Also very reasonably priced - we visited on a Tuesday evening which turned out to be pie night (choice of 3 pies, served with mash and veg, for only £10!)Will definitely be returning.
