Nice cosy bar, well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, very pleasant young man I can't remember his name. I recommend this place.

Booked for 8 of us for Mother's day and it was appalling. See larger review from one of our party below. Couldn't believe how poor it was when there were only 8 to 10 tables in total being served and a very limited menu. So there should have been no issue.Very embarrassed as I recommended it to our friends. Food was mediocre at best and staff didn't really seem to be interested about our complaints. Fawlty towers springs to mind!

A really nice pub, with friendly staff and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. 2 issues food could be better for price and wait for food is bad. More staff needed during busy periods.

Great food, dog friendly (even did our hungry dog a couple of sausages). We sat outside but was invited inside. Polite staff and good value.

Main meal really nice. The two staff members one at the bar and one being waitress felt sorry for as they had loads to do and not enough hands to do it. Food hugely over priced

Utter Shambles and it wasn't even busy!Only 8 of us & the table where we sat was loose & wobbly, so we asked to move to another table. Table needs to be fixed or removed from the Restaurant!!Starter, forgot to bring out 1 persons soup!! Poor Service!!Ordered a Lime n Soda, waitress came back, sorry No Lime!Offered by waitress, so ordered the Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream, waitress came back, sorry none available!Asked for cream with my tart pudding, waitress bought tart to table, sorry No cream!!!Coffee; 2 Latteé that tasted dreadful & were undrinkable!!1 Americano that had loads of coffee grout in the bottom of the cup!!Took the coffee to the Manager to show the grout, wasn't particularly interested or apologetic, said would take the 3 coffees off the bill. When the bill came, only 2 coffees removed, had to go away again and remove the 3rd!!Won't be going back - Shambles!!

A brilliant pub and restaurant. The staff are brilliant and a well run to boot.

Good choice of food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Choice of 1 beer when we were there. Be ready for the very loud, beautiful parrots! Recommended.

Nice pub, shame about the rudeness of the staff!Have a caged parrot in the middle of the pub,I touched the cage twice just to get the bird's attention and was abruptly preached by the landlady about the bird's powerful beak and how many psi of pressure it had on tap and not to "aggrevate" it!Maybe if it's that dangerous, there ought to be some warning signs put up!Will definitely not be going back in a hurry!

I had an excellent time, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the Hunters Chicken Burger I had was superb. At the moment only the outside seating is available because of covid restrictions so we ate in the beer garden, it was a great atmosphere and very pretty in the evening. As an added bonus the owner of the pub also has an aviary adjacent to the pub with parrots in it and she was more than happy to show them to us when we enquired about them, they are clearly very well looked after and made an excellent finish to an already great day!
