Great Sunday roast dinner, especially for the price. Great staff too. Will be going back soon.

Called in when passing looking for lunch. Had the last free table. Warmly welcomed, well served by all staff we interacted with. Well cooked pub food. Will use again if in the area.

We visited today and the adult food was lovely but the childrens portions are quite small considering the price and that the menu says they can be purchased for a child up to 12 years. The kids pizza would suit up to age 5 at most as it is very small and the frozen cheap type definatly not worth the price. We had to supplement 8 yr old with our own food. Chicken goujons were slightly better with 3 goujons but again it was quite expensive for what it was.

Only briefly dropped in as a stop on a journey and I loved it. Wish I could go back. They have friendly staff, a good selection of beverages and good seating areas.I would recommend everyone else drops in on this little gem in this little village!

We went here yesterday for our firms Christmas dinner🤣. Maddie has gone but Jo and Deanne were lovely. The food was exceptional I had prawn cocktail starter with LOADS of prawns then a blue steak that was great and I couldn't finish it.The others had a soup to start that was lovely looking and fish and chips that was massive.Thank you very much to the guinea for a lovely afternoon

Being new in town I've tried quite a few pubs in the area over recent months and this is the best in my opinion. Its a good ol country pub with great friendly atmosphere, the beer is good, the food is excellent, with portion sizes and prices that are very reasonable. The staff are awesome, everything a pub should be, well worth a visit.
