The Hoi Wan in Central Bedfordshire

I get take away from on a regular basis and have also tried a couple of other Chinese takeaways in dunstable and Hoi Wan is the best for me. Food always good, service is good even when it's really busy which it is most of time.

Hands down the best Chinese in Dunstable, food is always top quality and nice and hot wether delivered or collected. Have been going here for a while and tried a lot of others but it’s never the same. The only pain is it’s abit difficult to order sometimes as it’s cash only delivery and the phone line can get very busy on peak times. Would love to see you guys start online ordering just to make it easier to get an order in - as this is the only reason I have to go elsewhere when I can’t get through lolBut other than that you have to try the food here you will not be disappointed

Never had a bad meal....top class food althou trying to get through to order is a nitemare hence 4* otherwise would of been 5

Just had a Hoi Wan for the first time ever. Saw all good reviews online, couldn’t get through on the phone so thought I had to see if it was worth the hype. Half hour wait for food, but my god it was worth it. Hands down THE best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. All freshly made and so tasty! Will definitely be a regular now!

This is the second time using Hoi Wan and will not be the last. Although by food takes a bit longer to arrive (waiting time an hour and a half), we expected this as the lady on the phone told us. The food is worth the wait, hot, fresh and very tasty. Reasonably priced too and good portion sizes. The extra little touches of a free bag of mini pancakes (very tasty) and a Diet Coke are a lovely touch. Beef in mushroom is lush as are the chow Meins. The chicken curry tasted exactly how a Chinese curry should. 100% recommend.

A better than average Chinese takeaway. Most of the food we buy is never greasy, what I mean by that is the plate afterwards is never left in a load of grease. Previous experiences from other takeaway shops leave a residue behind. Wow a bit specific I know but a reason I keep going back.The young woman on the reception is extremely polite. Food is always hot when collected and the control during covid has been very good, only allowing 2 in at a time.There is all the usual food to expect plus a few others I have not seen before. I have tried most but always end up with the same these days.Pork fried rice and Kung po chicken, extra spicy.

Best Chinese takeaway in town. Thorough front desk, never gets my order wrong. Been going here for years now. Good quality and worth every penny. Food is ALWAYS delivered piping hot! Reasonably priced and good quantity. Pretty much the only Chinese restaurant keeping Dunstable alive! Starting to think it's more a public service they provide.I do wish they were open for lunch..maybe once a week ??
