The place has super friendly staff. A very affordable place to eat. The food was absolutely tasty and very presentable. It is a family friendly place. You can watch the birds whilst you eat. My favorite place in Leighton buzzard to stop for breakfast or lunch.

CHILDREN UNDER 6 MONTHS NOT WELCOME IF THEY ARE IN A BUGGY OR PRAM.THIS CAFE DOES NOT ACCOMODATE PRAMS AND BUGGIES INSIDE.Visited today after a friend booked a table inside. When I arrived with my newborn baby in a pram. I was very rudely asked if I could leave the pram outside. I explained my baby was 3 wks old and they asked if I could take her out. When my friend arrived with her 6 month old they peered inside the pram and said she was old enough to come out and be put in a high chair. We decided to brave the cold and sit outside as we did not feel welcome.I might have understood if they were busy but 90% of the tables were vacant. It would be clearer if they had a notice on the door banning buggies and prams. It would save the awkwardness of having to relocate to an outside table.

Disappointing! Great atmosphere and potential but extremely slow service. Have been there x3 times… first visit was ok…. The second one we got up and left after 15 mins as we weren’t even given menus… and the third visit was for an evening event where we waited an hour for drinks. Such a shame as it could be so nice but I will not be going back.

Such a shame to experience lack of accommodation and understanding for peope with young children. I arrived after my friends for a table inside (pre booked with numbers if children and babies) with my 2 year old and 6 month old and was asked to leave my pram outside which I declined as my baby was asleep in there, after coming in the lady questioned if my child could go in a highchair I declined, I was then told the problem with the pram inside meant if they came past with a hot drink and tripped and spilt OVER MY CHILD then it would by my fault. The awkwardness to relocate outside when I just wanted to walk away, do not go if you have a pram or buggy and would like to sit inside, they didn't even have the thought to relocate our table inside to a better place by putting two together, as there was only one other table occupied at the time and no reservation signs up. Very disappointed as has always been a place we enjoy meeting.

I've always found the quality of ingredients and cooking to be off the best quality. I would reccomend the eggs benedict with any of the added extras. The cooked breakfast is sublime and the coffee and cake a really tasty treat. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Had 3 dirty cups and i gave up and just used it.Guy was making me wait for my cup as he was washing it so i could use it even though there were about 40 cups on the shelf. Got my food order wrong and the toast was cold. No white sugar on table. Butter rock hard, Rubbish. Wont go back

Fantastic cafe in the heart of LB Town!We got the three cheese Welsh rarebit and Eggs Royale with Smoked Salmon. The 3 cheese was scrumptious. As you can imagine very cheesy and came with a nice side of salad. The eggs royale was good too and the eggs poached perfectly. We also got a chai latte and special hot chocolate, both of which were very delicious. The hot chocolate comes with marshmallows, which aren't vegetarian, so they kindly substituted it for chocolate flakes. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor. The outdoor seating looks like very quaint and has an enchanted forest feeling.Would highly recommend. Will definitely try and visit again!

We sat at the top of the garden under cover with a heater, a great position on a breezy day. Very friendly staff and excellent food. We thought the prices very reasonable too.It was quite busy when we arrived but the order delay was explained up front so all was well. We spent time watching the birds in the aviary as we waited.

The hot chocolate and Welsh rarebit were very tasty. My daughter asked if the sandwich she ordered was a hot sandwich and she was told yes (before ordering) unfortunately this was not the case so she wouldn't eat it and ended up toasting it at home.
