So lovely to have our pub back. New young team working so hard. Food on lunch menu was excellent.

Great selection of beer and guest ales, and all staff are approachable and friendly. Great pub and great atmosphere

Awful!! We booked a table at this pub because of the online menu. It was my partners birthday so we thought we would try something new. MISTAKE!! We arrived to a friendly welcome, (that's where the good experience ends) and we were seated and presented with the menus, not the one being advertised on the pubs website. It was a very basic menu, as it was my partners birthday I didn't want to make a fuss. We chose 2 starters abs 2 mains. After waiting 25 minutes the bar man presented us with our main courses, when I asked about the starters he offered no valid explanation as to why they had not arrived and very little in the way of an apology and absolutely no solution to the error. Its safe to say that the sole of a flip flop would have been more tender than the burger I was given. We also had to listen to what can only be described as a management meeting taking place at the bar ranting about the trials and tribulations of the pub and the lack of chef!!! This should really not be in ear shot of paying customers, all in all an experience I will not be paying for again, and not a great birthday celebration. AVIOD!!!

We just popped in for a lunch. It was lovely and made so bunch better by the lovely welcome and service from Kiera. Thank you.

Pleasant pub in a charming village. Would have preferred a menu with snacks/sandwiches etc. That said we had a nice lunch in a pleasant environment. No complaints.

Shared a dome with six family members for a special occasion and weren't disappointed. Good food and excellent service in a rustic location on the edge of a quaint village. A great evening was had by all and will be booking in there again soon.

Great food and service at this lovely country pub. The menu has dishes that are just a little bit different - thoroughly recommend it.

Ist time I've been out to a pub for over a year, a special occasion so had to dare, made a fabulous choice. The booking was simple I received the confirmation but also an email from the manager to confirm which was lovely.I booked a dome which even though it was tiddling down it was dry, little lights & a heater if you required it, very comfy. The 4 of us had three courses which were lovely, cooked perfectly, compliments to the chef, and served well in what was difficult circumstances due to the weather. The checking on us throughout our stay was lovely, polite & not intrusive at all & covered all our liquid needs. Due to us not going out at all over these difficult months I am pleased to say I chose well & felt very comfortable in where we were.We will definitely be going back and are looking forward to it, well done The Plough and your team,1st class xXx

Popped in a whim. Just for a drink and portion of chips. Lovely ambiance with open fire alight, the table to the left of me enjoyed their liver and bacon. I don't like it but it did look good. the table to the right of me had cottage pie looked great. Smelt lovely our wine and beer tasted good. Service was very good.
