The Royal Oak in Central Bedfordshire

Had Sunday lunch there yesterday. It was great I think the best Sunday roast I have had for a long time. Good choice of meat as well as plenty of vegetables all nicely cooked especially the crispy roast potatoes.

What a lovely pub with a brilliant beer garden, it's huge! Perfect for sunny days. The chef was very friendly and accommodating too. Just how pubs should be.

Very nice experience for drinking and dining. Bit expensive but very good food and service. Recommend.

Good atmosphere for a mid week to watch football. Friendly bar service. Food was great 👍

One of the last two pubs in the village. A more classy approach to the village pub. With cocktails on tap, a vast gin selection Youll have a great evening. Music events occasionally happen on fridays (post covid). Prices are on the higher side, and last orders are at 10:45 every evening which is very disappointing if you actually expected a 'night' out.

We both had a pub lunch here. Scampi & Chips. Very nice. I am disabled so walking is a problem The staff were very helpful took our order from the table brought the drinks over and shortly after our meals. Sorry no photo taken of the meal. It looked good. Smelt good. And by golly it tasted good

Lennie was fantastic last night, singing Rat Pack songs. He also had the crowd joining in and laughing. Can't wait for the next one Lennie.

So good had to come back and check out the roast. Great atmosphere, friendly faces and nice decor. Lemon curd was the better than some high-end London restaurants. Supreme flavor.

Hand made delicious pizza in a dog friendly pub. The pizzas were just the right size for lunch, but so delicious we wished we'd ordered 2! They offer vegan cheeses which was such a great find. The pub was well decorated, bar staff friendly and fairly priced. Suitable for children. We'd definately go back as we happened upon it by chance.
