The Ship in Central Bedfordshire

Stopped off there this afternoon as I was picking up a guitar from a buyer in the town.Attractive building and decor within. Great car park in an area with very little non-permit street parking.Service was really friendly and the beers choice excellent.Even the toilets were somewhat quirky!No reason to deduct any stars, and would certainly visit again if in the area.

Had an absolutely amazing roast today. It was our first carvery experience. All vegetables were cooked from fresh. Tried turkey and beef which were very tasty. Possibly we will be returning every Sunday from now on! Thank you guys to serve super delicious food.

Sunday evening, a very large party, and after working hard all day - Jason served us with a smile, patience and good humour. A credit to the business. The food was excellent and we’ll be back. Thanks again to Jason, who made our evening go brilliantly. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had fish and chips for the first time in my life - and I am 33 now. It was worth the ordering 1000 times. Also I am big fan of all the nice decoration! Looking forward to come back to Leighton Buzzard for this. Keep on working like captains!

We booked wanting a Carvery but realised on arrival that this was only available at the weekend. We picked various meals off the menu and all of them were perfect. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. Initial disappointment soon disappeared.

Waited for staff service for quite a while so ask for another table that was warmer and better service. 4 of us had carvery was a very good standard, and would go back again.

Nice pub. Menu is pretty standard but the food is done well. Certainly one of the better places to eat out in Leighton Buzzard.

We enjoyed Christmas lunch at The Ship today for and I have to say it was absolutely perfect. The staff were all happy and very attentive and the food was amazing! Well done to everyone who was working today and a big thank you xx

Food was great, but unfortunately it started raining outside and then the roof of the part of the restaurant we we're sat in stated leeking above us and above another table in there conservatory area. There was also an overwhelming smell coming from the near by toilets which I presume is a common occurrence as the staff had a can of air freshener on there workstation which they sprayed when we mentioned we could smell rotten eggs.Plus they ran out of lagers estrella and Moretti!!!Lovely location great food just let down by the smell and getting wet while eating dinner.

We booked a table for a couple of hours today after the lockdown lifted on retail and outdoor dining. It was a really pleasant experience with both the service and the food. Our waiter Charlie really made us feel at home and was really speedy with our order and loved to chat with us.Our steaks were cooked perfectly, the mussels in the white wine were amazing and the pale ale was on point. Couldn’t have asked for more! We’ve just moved to Leighton so we will frequent here again! Many thanks
