Everything you'd want from an traditional village pub. Even though he was fully booked for lunch and clearly incredibly busy, landlord Mark made us welcome and found us a spot to sit and have a drink. Then later he offered to rustle up some sandwiches and chips if we were happy to wait. They were great when they arrived and Mark even recommended places for an evening meal as he didn't do food in the evening. Overall a great experience and would definitely revisit if in the area again

We visited on Friday lunchtime.Great friendly atmosphere, amazing food and Mark and his wife couldn't have done more to make our visit a memorable one.They catered for our family of 6, even though the most they usually accommodate are tables of 4.We will definitely be back.

This is really a nice old fashionable pub, clean and tidy, comfortable place, with a good range of drinks available, including hand pumped ales 🍺 😀, they also sell pork pie, pasties etc that are supplied by a local butcher 😋

Lovely little country pub. Only 1 ladies toilet. Has a marquee out the back . The car park area needs to be more attractive from the road as this is what you see coming down to the pub .

Great place to eat and drink. The Service provided was first class and nothing too much trouble. Food was great and a great choice of ales on tap. I would recommend booking as it gets busy will be returning.

Brilliant little pub, friendly staff and a very nice lunch, one way system in place tables set out for distancing and all the staff wore masks, great selection of real ales well kept and changed every 144 pints (according to the boss) love this place, well worth a visit.
