The Swan Salford in Central Bedfordshire

This place was half way for me and my bestie to meet. Booked a table for 12 noon. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside for a bit and have a drink. Lovely outdoors space. Indoors beautifully done out too. Food and service was great. We spent 4 hours there. The front of house (woman in the pink coat) was very attentive and professional. Will definitely go back.

It's ok but the food is overpriced for what you get. It's not quite gastro quality. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Toilets could do with an upgrade, one was out of order

Fantastic I would definitely recommend this place for Sunday lunch, the staff was great very attentive and always smiling. Had a great afternoon.

Bizarre experience. We were really looking forward to our visit, but the server we had really didn’t seem to know what he was doing. My mum ordered the squash salad & we said ‘as a main dish’ 3 times (the menu has 2 prices, for a starter or main). When it arrived, it was the starter size & the server just did not understand when I said we’d asked for it as a main. He eventually said he could bring a green salad so my mum ended up with a v small salad & a side of another salad! I asked another server to help, she said she would sort it but never came back! Mum then ordered a double espresso & only got a single. Mum wouldn’t let me complain further, but the entirely odd attitude of the serving staff (just not seeing there was anything wrong nor apologising or providing a solution) has completely put us off from revisiting. Food was average and probably a 3.5 star quality but I can’t give more than 2 stars because of the service.

Excellent quality food and drink plus efficient and polite staff. Fish selection and quality first rate and we'll cooked. Enough selection to cater for most tastes yet not to overwhelming. Recommended.

Nice place ☺️, good for a relaxing weekend.Salmon fish that was grilled on request was delicious and healthy Veg Burger with veggies instead of cheese 👍😊.Nice combination and sell served dinner.I would like to have another night 🌃 there with a good sports events telecast, like F1 or adventure sports.Worth being there and Cranfield University students should visit that place in Salford.

Incredibly slow drink service, we were half way through our starter before our aperitif arrived. Not really value for money, food pretty average. Two days before our booking we had to cancel 2 people due to positive PCR tests and got charged despite them reselling our two seats. Would not recommend and none of our party will be returning.

Brilliant food here, been here twice would recommend. Staff really friendly only thing I would say is service was a little slow but not enough to put me off coming back as it was so delish!

We've eaten here several times but this time it was during lockdown when you could only eat outdoors. We visited on what turned out to be the wettest, coldest windyist day in May. We ate in a large open tent with heaters and a large log fire burning. Blankets were provided to also help keep us warm. All tables were socially distanced and all were full. The service and food were excellent with a great, friendly atmosphere. I thoughly recommend a visit.

What can I say? Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and staff. First time I have eaten here in about 10 years, the quality was superb, with a refined menu of well done food. We were not disappointed.The pub itself is an amazing building in a lovely village location close to Milton Keynes, outside seating was available and dogs allowed in the bar area. Little pricey but well worth the extra pennies.
