The White Hart at Maulden in Central Bedfordshire

So impressed with this place - I think easily the best pub in the area puts the others to shame. Delicious food, excellent service , great atmosphere and lovely interior and gardens. Will definitely be back a lot more often now!

Went here for a lunch business meeting. We were nicely greeted. As we were waiting for our lunch, a bite size hummus on a triangle pita was complementary, which was a lovely touch. 2 of us had the special of steak burger with Stilton. Basically it’s a home made burger, but a really tasty burger. It came with chips & onion rings. The chef knows what they’re doing. This is the first visit since new management & I would recommend this place 100%. I didn’t get a chance to photo the beautifully presented dishes, as it was a meeting. The staff were friendly & the right amount of attentiveness. Thank you.

Visited the White Hart for Sunday lunch today. We had the roast chicken and roast beef and it was by far the best roast we have had dining out. Would defiantly recommend.

Had a great Sunday roast. Plenty of meat and lots of vegetables and roast potatoes as well as a Yorkshire pudding only lacking sufficient gravy. Saying that I do like plenty of gravy and quantity may be ok for others. Only half of our party managed to finish theirs. Still had space for an equally delicious dessert. Good service and will be back soon.

This is a great pub, with fabulous food. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon. Good outside space too. We will be adding to our regular visits list!

Lovely decor, fab staff, being in new hands its still finding its feet, with lots of potential. A small menu, but still with a good selection. Sunday dinner is the best in the area by far.

My birthday lunch was really delicious and I definitely had burger envy for my husband's dinner! The staff were very polite and helpful. I brought food with me for my baby who can't eat from the kids menu yet and it was absolutely fine. The pub looks lovely inside and on a sunny day there's lots of outside space so I imagine we'll be back for a drink or another yummy meal soon.

Delicious food, the flavours were amazing! Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff would highly recommend for top quality food.

We were sad the old owners moved but actually the new owners have a fantastic menu. It was hard to choose but in the end I had swordfish with a salsa and afterwards the mediterranean orange cake which had a devine texture and tasted delicious, my husband had the apple tart with caramel sauce which was also very good. When we have more time I'd go back for starters, the scallops looked good.
