The White Swann Inn in Central Bedfordshire

Just had a lovely lunch at The White Swan. A lovely welcom from the young lady behind the bar. We felt very welcome. The garden was lovely with nice pleasant music.

Just had a deliveroo roast delivered, very nice, cauliflower cheese and gravy 10/10

Lovely little pub. Cosy and lively. Good pint and nice crowd.The gardens pretty and the whole pub has a rather posh feel whilst also being comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. Im yet to sample their food but im told that both the dining in and food delivery is top notch.Live music events are good here especially on St Patrick's day

I didn't go in as they weren't doing food but the doorman was cool

Chef called Ella was very helpful and the hospitality was immaculate. Any issues were corrected. Brilliant experience. Would definitely recommend.

*** POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ***Poor customer service is an understatement! I welcome a response from the owner on this review.We ordered four items of the menu and we have not received a mains meal for my partner. I can accept mistakes but I can’t accept incompetence and lack of customer service. If there’s an issue you would like to think with modern day technology that you could resolve the issue.Tried to call to rectify the issue as I expect any business would want to resolve - it can be a genuine mistake which I can accept but when you have an issue and you call them on a land line number which goes to an o2 voicemail ... 5 times with no answer. This clarifies poor professionalism within the hospitality industry.I think the worst part is if you don’t receive an item from any company, there IS a procedure and it can be sorted. In this circumstance ... you have paid for an item which you did not receive and awaiting a refund which you don’t know if you will receive!?We want to support local businesses and we are not here to ruin any business in unprecedented times but I feel you should also value customers as we want to support you but we can’t with experiences like this.Hopefully we will get a response from the owner on this review and this can be resolved as me trying to contact your restaurant clearly doesn’t work.Yours faithfullyAn unhappy customer

Really nice roast! Came quickly and was still super hot. Massive portions and really worth the money. The only negative was they forgot my drink but other than that would highly recommend

What a gem, cosy clean and comfortable, real fire, good inexpensive food. A good example of traditional pub.
