Woodland Cafe in Central Bedfordshire

Came here for a meeting and stayed overnight. Service was faultless, beautiful hotel with lots of character. Breakfast was perfect.

Great, quiet location with lots of parking. The service is really good, everyone is willing to help and accommodate.We have visited twice for afternoon tea at the weekend, lovely atmosphere. They accommodated with allocating us tables to allow for a young baby and pram, did not feel rushed at all and they were happy to provide hot water to warm bottles, which is so helpful!Afternoon Tea itself was good, good selection of food and cakes. The restaurant staff are happy to bring you fresh pots of hot drinks throughout, which is good. Would definitely visit again!

Excellent afternoon tea for a reasonable price. The scones and cakes absolutely fantastic (the cream profiterole to die for). Top marks to the staff, wonderful throughout. Very recommended.

My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at Woodlands Manor. The conservatory was decorated with lots of beautiful flower displays which added to the ambiance, the food was tasty and all home made and more than ample, served on pretty china plates the staff were very attentive and helpful even suggesting that we take home what cakes etc that we couldn't manage to eat. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Valentines Day Afternoon tea. They accommodated my dietary request (dairy free) very well. Needed to give 24 hours notice and £5 deposit. Plenty of parking on site.

Had my 70th birthday party at Woodland Manor yesterday. I cannot thank the staff enough for making my day so very special.From the day I booked in April 2021, the time, attention to every detail, has been impeccable. Aylish the function co-ordinator certainly made sure my special day went without a hitch. The Chef, Becky, her kitchen staff, produced the most wonderful food, not just looked amazing but really delicious. All three courses 5* The waiting staff again gave excellent service, nothing was too much trouble.All 70 guests stayed and the compliments just kept coming. Breakfast, again excellent, could basically have anything, again waited on by Amber and the amazing Elaine. Such a lovely lady, continuously checking we had tea, coffee and all was ok. Everyone said how friendly and pleasant she was too them. Amber too.Thank you from a very HAPPY lady.Thoroughly recommend Woodland ManorLYNN

Beautiful hotel, very accommodating and staff always happy to help. Food was lovely, small portions but very well presented. Lovely grounds and stunning views from our room. Room was very cold at times due to age of building but staff bought up a heater 30seconds after we requested one. Slightly more expensive but well worth it

I was part of a rather excitable Wedding party (as the wedding had been postponed numerous times) and the reception room was beautifully done, the staff were all so lovely as well!And my room (room 17) had a very cute view.

Disappointed with the room they gave us (standard) It had a horrible musty smell as you walked in. Very dated decor ie wallpaper peeling off in certain areas and stained too. Mirrors and skirting boards where dusty and the toliet rim was black and constant dripping of cistern kept us awake. Silicone around the bath was mouldy. The mattress was very hard and my husband didn't get a good night sleep. Overall disappointed didn't expect a luxurious room but could of been 100 times better. The hotel management should make sure that the cleaning team do their job properly. The evening meal was lovely the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly can't fault that.
