I came here for my birthday yesterday with a group of friends. The staff were absolutely amazing - I got a card, decorated table and a sparkling dessert! We will definitely be returning.

Would give 0 if I could ! Avoid at all costsWe come here for Mother’s Day as a table of 14 & the manager was beyond rude to the 15 year old waitress , screaming at her all evening physically abusing her and making her cry , she then told her to leave after paying the girl £3 an hour which in itself is a crime !I followed the young girl outside as I’m a waitress aswell & would be mortified if that happened to me.Whilst I was outside the manager who had made numerous mistakes during the evening (which we was polite about), then aggressively shouted at the table which had ages from 80 to 9 on it “do u want food or do u want to leave” to which my dad replied no we want to order so she threw a stack of menus at the table and went to the table next to ours screaming about how horrible we were moaning at her (she did this so loudly so that we could hear everything). At this point we all got up and said (still calmly) that we didn’t come out to witness child abuse or be talked about. The lady owner now screaming blocked the door so we couldn’t leave and called around 4 men out of the kitchen , one of the men grabbed my dad round the throat and broke all his Hugo boss T-shirt , my dad freezing as he is not a violent person my sister told the woman to let us out to having another member of staff push her.Eventually after them trying to fight us for around 20 minutes we were able to pay and they finally let us out. This should have been the end of it but no as we was walking back to the car all upset about how our Mother’s Day was ruined and the children crying , we noticed that they had charged us twice !When confronted about this the aggressive lady owner had walked into the back & left her husband to deal with it .It is now 48 hours later and they still haven’t returned the second payment. Please avoid this place at all costs it’s absolutely vile the way they treat people and if you read the other reviews I’m not the first person to say it.

have ordered two times now and the first time was 3 1/2 hours long and the second time was over 2 hours I gave them another chance thinking it may have been a one off but it seems like it is every time now the staff are extremely rudeWhen you order they will tell you up to an hour and when it goes over the hour I rang them up and asked how long and they told me 20 minutes that turn in to another hour!I ordered my food at 6:20pm and did not receive my food till around 9pm this is totally not acceptable!I really can’t believe how rude the staff are!If you are looking to order this I advise you to order it the day before and you still may not get it your food time! It’s a shame because there’s not many Chinese is in the village !Do not give these vile people your money

Good food unfortunately the delivery time is unacceptable. Repeatedly of food showing up a min of 1 hour later from time given. Unfair, shouldn’t have to keep chasing order.

Great service, brilliant food and the portions were very generous. This restaurant is on my list of places I definitely would return to.

Attentive and friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Food was first class, good quality and plenty of it. Not rushed, even though we were the last to leave. We were offered complimentary drinks. Highly recommended.

Thanks to the staff for finding a space for me to get myself and my son's a table early doors without booking. We were lucky, but quick service meant we could get in and out without being rushed but without wasting time. The food is lovely especially the dumplings, and the serving staff friendly and cheerful.

Went with friends for dinner on a Monday night. Exceptional service from Wing and her team. Friendly, attentive and a sense that they genuinely care that you have a good experience. Not very busy being a Monday, only 2 other tables in use when we arrived at 7:30.First thing you notice is the pleasant decor and the massive illuminated tree. Nice neutral colours enhanced by blue mood lighting.Hot towels were bought out and napkins were placed on our laps for us. Large basket of prawn crackers was waiting on our table. We ordered the mixed hors d'oeuvres. Spring rolls, crispy "seaweed", chicken satay and pork ribs. The quality of these was beyond what I've had in other establishments. The ribs stood out. They were tender but not so tender that they fell off the bone. That's just how they are supposed to be. They had a nice crisp outside and were smothered with a delicious sauce, I think it was capital sauce. They were a good size too. Satay were great. Slightly spicy and came with a separate peanut sauce, not dry like some places. For mains we ordered sweet & sour pork Hong Kong style, roast duck Hong Kong style, chicken noodles (chow mein) and special fried rice.Everything was good, I mean really good. Flavours were on point. Presentation was beautiful. The special fried rice was delicious and tasted really eggy throughout. The pork was crispy on the outside despite the sauce which was a perfect balance of sweetness and sourness. It was colourful too, including red peppers and pineapple. Chow mein had that smoky "wok breath" taste. The beansprouts still had their crunch and the noodles were just the right texture, slightly firm. The star of the show for me was the duck. Bathed in a smooth sauce with spring onions on a cabbage base, rich with umami flavour, the duck was cooked to perfection, with that amazing crispy skin and tender flesh. I'd go back just for that.We were asked if we would like ice cream and coffee on the house. We accepted, of course and were presented with plates on which there were 3 different ice creams and an assortment of sweets including some liquorice torpedoes (I don't like liquorice but they made me smile as I remember having these as a kid), a delicious pear or melon tasting thin string like entity. My ice creams were strawberry, chocolate orange and vanilla. The coffee was good and served with cream and brown sugar. We were presented with a chocolate each to finish. You know the kind where the ambassador is really spoiling us?We thanked Wing for the really lovely experience and we were amazed that we were each given a little gift to take home. She was chatty and smiling but you could tell it was natural and not forced.I've never experienced a restaurant this good before and I'm the wrong side of 50.
