Food is always spot on very friendly service and I've never had a late delivery

The food is always amazing. The driver was so nice and apologetic for beeing late, (delivered in just over an hour) on a busy night, so not late at all! Chicken balls were delicious 😋

We have ordered from this Chinese a few times now. The service is fantastic, easy to order on their website with a great selection of food. We normally order the set meal for two and there is more than enough!Delivery is always half an hour from the time of ordering so incredibly quick.Cant recommend them highly enough.....you won't be disappointed! 🤗

Delicious Food, Hot and Fresh. It's been 2 years since we ordered a Chinese in chelmsford. Worried which one to pick. So glad we chose Gourmet Express, the food wasn't greasy, it was tasty and fresh. Definitely our go to from now on and to share with Guests.

Had food delivered from here and the chicken balls were pink and bleeding I have been throwing up all evening and the company thinks it is exceptable to only refund the price for the chicken balls not the whole meal will never order from here again and will be going to environmental health with the pictures that I have. Waited around an 1hr 30 mins, phoned up to find check on the order, only to hear they hadn't prepared the food because we were too far away 4.1 miles to be exact. No calls to tell us they wouldn't be delivering after accepting the order. We'd ordered twice from here previously and also show up on justeat to cover this area. Both times I've ordered over the phone they'd tried to charge a higher price for the food not realising I'm looking at the menu.Brought up a delivery fee as a reason, a small fee which wasn't mentioned, when we placed and they accepting the order. Most likely made a mistake, but it was hanging up on us that got them the review

Had food delivered from gourmet Express tonight and the chicken in the chicken balls were pink and still bleeding wish I could upload a picture to show you how bad it was. We will not be ordering from here again!

Ordered a meal online ready to pick up for 5pm . Arrived at 5pm ready to pick up meal and they had not even started to cook the meal. Very poor service and no apology!

Wow what can I say, amazing. so much flavour the food was so fresh, the first time we had tried this place and we are 100% going back, decent portion sizes good price and free prawn crackers, can't fault this place at all it's our new go to.
