Food nice but blimey the girl on the till had such an attitude, misery and rude I don't know why

Collected or delivered my fish and chips have always arrived on my plate looking excellent. In-store the staff are friendly and attentive and also when delivered the drivers are also.Love it. Happy Fridays!

Lovely fish and chips with generous portions, served piping hot. Vegetarian burger options now too which are really tasty. Takes cards. Very hard-working team with excellent customer service. Thanks Martellas!

This has literally got to be the beat chippy around always delicious the chips battered sausage or cod and curry sauce never fails to let us down with taste portion and crispness blooming lovely....However on the downside tried onion rings from there today and they were the rank reformed onion that are mushy and tasteless...I will never understand why the best chippy in Chelmsford are not using proper onions to make rings with ..... please please change this one thing ...Other than that..enjoy!!!

FOOD:What you'd expect from a decent chippy!STAFF:A young girl that works there, she has such a bad customer service that it's a great customer service! No smile, talks to you like mummy told her to play with the reject kid at school, so maybe it just takes me back when I was at school? Nostalgia!Luckily I was wearing a mask... But i think she saw my eyes were smiling, thinking why am I smiling 😂😂😂 it's great, just go for the customer service, she won't disappoint

British cuisine. Ordered for the first time Large Cod and chips with Fish cake and Scampi whole tail and chips. Overall, the food was enjoyable as a whole. Positive side first the Large Cod and chips was amazing and had a good portion but the negativity was in the portions of services of Scampi didn't match the expectations, they looked like nuggets. Scampi whole tail was order but couldn't find the tail🤭😜. Fish cake had a raw taste which I don't know why (maybe that's the actual taste, I am not sure). But I am happy that I tried it😊.

Reasonable food when it did arrive, but ordering in advance for collection and a quick in /out /eat, since when we go there, there were a dozen questions on how we wanted burger done, what we wanted on it /with it, all delaying the 'collection ' further. 5 mins turned into nearly 20 from arriving. Okay, not cheap though, and if you wanted service with a smile, you'll be disappointed. And if you wanted it quickly....... you'll be left wanting that too. Why not just ask when it's ordered? Oh, and please smile.

Single handedly the best fish and chip shop around! Having been to eat in as well as grabbing a takeaway on multiple occasions over the years, the food and service has always been consistently great.Not to mention it's a family run business, so it's nice to be able to support it.

Not fantastic by today's standards.Staff friendly and polite, but portion sizes very small concidering other places that also sell fish&chips.Ordered large chips for £3! and got a small/medium size.Sadly - not very warm after a 3 minute car journey back home so I think next time will go elsewhere, shame really as its local.

Who doesn't like a good fish and chips! Nice clean premises and the staff are efficient. They also do a good white chocolate moccha, and cappuccino! Nicely situated near the Asda superstore. The only negative is the entrance, it is a touch narrow. Worth a visit.
