Harvester in Chelmsford

Was quite nice, chicken was a bit dry though , the kids enjoyed their food and the waitress was really polite and helpful.

Went out with friends on Easter Sunday. Amazing food, limited choice on vegetarian options,but really good food. Even if you are calorie conscious, you have nice options to choose and they will customise where possible. Definitely going back. Very courteous staff.

We had our twins’ birthday meal here. It is a favourite restaurant for our family and today was no exception. Andy was really accommodating and even brought out the twins’ ice cream with a candle in it! Such a lovely thought and they were thrilled. Thank you so much

Visited The Plough on Saturday lunchtime with a friend and we were served by Lyn. She was extremely friendly, polite and bubbly, which made our experience a fantastic one.Our food was really delicious and we had a really enjoyable visit overall.

Absolutely excellent morning at the harvester! Unfortunately one of the ingredients had run out and it was Absolutely no bother to our hosts Andy and Nova to rectify the situation. The staff are awesome and the food matched! Thank you and see you again soon hopefully

Great service with a free salad bar so whats not to like. Went with a party of 16 so lots of us and we were well looked after. Most of us but not all of were happy with the food as the chicken was a little dry and my daughters pasta dish was pretty small for the price. Also not long after we had finished our meal we were asked to move to the bar, even though we had just spent over £400!! Overall a good experience though and would go back.

Harvester is my go-to place for a great meal which is good value for money! The staff are very accommodating and make you feel very welcomed. The service was very fast yet not rushed. A lovely family pub, would definitely bring my family back here again

Decent size family pub. Had a nice meal there and love the salad bar. Obviously due to covid restrictions things are different and a little slower paced than normal as you can't just help yourself but generally still a great place to go for reasonably priced food.

I wasn't impressed by the bbq stack "chicken" vegetarian meal I had. It was dry and looked and tasted like something I would have bought myself from a supermarket 5 years ago as a veggie. It was not worth even half the money. I was told by my friend that their burger wasn't very nice either. Its a shame because the building and decor is nice. The salad bar is good. Although I don't know what the point was of the staff member getting it for you whilst we were stood right next to them. Sorry but I won't be returning.

Visited today with my husband, two children and I. The food was so nice. The service received from Zara and Tracey was brilliant. Zara was so friendly and was always checking we were okay. Both very good at their jobs. Will definitely be back
