Kfc in Chelmsford

Second time this month, it smelled of disinfectant/TCP. Tracked it down to the chips! God only knows what they're mixing in the oil, probably domestos!

Enjoyed my meal...I was very hungry and the food was tasty...Took a little more time to come ..maybe because I was so hungry...The environment is clean and inviting...

Springfield is better. Their mayo tastes like they bought a bottle of hellmans from the tesco extra next door.This isn′t the colonels mayonaise; I won't fall for that.

Go here often as it's on my way between jobs, can honestly say in 4 years I've had 2 average kfcs here in that time, the rest have been poor but I've been hungry. When I left the 1 star, I ordered a large meal, the chips come out in 2 small chip bags (not a problem at all) and one bag was hot, the other stone cold. How can you be that bad?! I use the drive thru mainly and am in a rush so don't usually relay my poor experience but yesterday really annoyed me. If your in this part of essex and are dying for kfc either starve because the other chelmsford one is on par with this, or drive to basildon on the a127 the kfc there is bang on every single time! Never had a bad or even average one there. The colonel would be proud! You are the worst kfc chelmsford.

Do not eat there! Food is miserable just like the customer service. Greasy mess . Not fresh just kept warm soggy chicken. I would of give —1000 stars.

Was not expecting much other than, call of the wild. The music was too loud, and staff with mask on was not helping any conversation or to place an order. I ordered something got something else. Can't be bothered, my hunger was quenched😎👍

Had 2 fillet burger meals, one of the buns was burnt, really really black and the chicken in my husband's was so hard, it actually broke his tooth. Will never go there again, customer service is appalling and they just don't care.

After waiting for a good 15 minutes burgers were hot and the buns were cold, after giving specfic instructions they still make mistakes. Then have to go back in to complain some staff was not happy bad customer service.

SHOCKING! I Opened my spicy wrap and staring at me was a string of carrot that had been on their food prep table for so long that it was black and mouldy. I dread to think how often this place is cleaned properly. The next wrap had small black particles in the packaging that I could only assume was the remains of the wrap they'd originally served! Never coming here again! Will stick to the new Chelmer branch.

Fillet burgers are a joke, I took the outside breadcrumbs off to find it mainly air inside and very little chicken. Nice pricing for the other stuff. If you like your breadcrumb burgers then it's all good for you :)
