Miller and Carter in Chelmsford

Visited for Saturday lunch with my gf. We picked the lunch menu which was great value. Service was great and speedy, we were served by lovely Lucia.

Our favourite place to go for Dinner. Never had a bad meal here, always so full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The staff are always polite and friendly with excellent service. Worth every penny 😍

Absolutely top class service today. Food was ĺovely (as always) the wait for drinks and food just right. Lovely seating area and great choice of food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and gave great service. But what really made our visit was a member of staff who noticed that my mother wasn't stable on her feet and offered to bring her out to my car when I drove it round to the entrance to collect her. This lady was an absolute angel 😇 Will definitely be back when in the area - I'd rate 6 stars if it were possible

Served by the lovely Megan, we had a lovely meal with food that was top quality, they even put Happy Birthday in chocolate sauce for my partner's dessert! That was a lovely touch! Would definitely recommend to friends and family as a special treat

Food was incredible, perfectly cooked steak and the accompanying sides were equally as delicious.Drinks menu had a good variety both alcoholic and non.Waitress was lovely and polite.Not our first visit and certainly won't be our last!

This branch of Miller and Carter has never disappointed. The food has been consistently good and the staff have always gone out of their way to make every visit pleasurable. Whilst steakhouses aren't normally my go to, I am always willing to go back and try something new.It can get busy on the evenings so booking is recommended.

Food quality is always excellent. Confidence level is extremely high that steak will be cooked to order, I prefer medium-well done & find most restaurants cannot cook this precisely but here it always is cooked to perfection. The onion loaf was amazing & the chips were beautiful.The only downside is portion size is quite small, but it is a higher end restaurant than average so is to be expected.

Not a bad experience, however a lot of the menu choice was out of stock on the evening I visited. This was at 7PM so not too late in the night. The meal that I initially chose, was one of those that happened to be out of stock. Which is disappointing and it would have been nice to know about the stock prior to being given the opportunity to order, as I wasted my time selecting something that wasn't available.The food itself was tasty and I can't really complain about that. However its very expensive for what you get. I've been to a similar style chain restaurant in London, which gives equally as good food for a fraction of the price.Based on the price, I won't be visiting again anytime soon and will save Miller & Carter for special occasions only. In terms of value I think I can get much more for my money at a rival chain with an even better service.

So this was for me me the first experience in a steakhouse and I'm happy to say that starting with the waiter, name Josh, who was one of the best waiters I have ever met. So everything he recommended not just worked well but really made my day. Now I need to say thank you to the chef that made some amazing steaks and the lobster was crazy, then the dessert and the cocktail literally today was one of the happiest days going out. me and my mate spend like 3 hours and we didn't even notice that the time past that's how good the food was. I highly recommend and I will definitely go there again
