Munchies Cafe in Chelmsford

Popped in Saturday for lunch, shepherd's pie was ok but missing gravy, on previous visits food has been really good, waiting for drinks for over 15 minutes while the staff were all on there phones behind the counter, the floor was interesting, cutlery under a couple of tables mud and waist food pretty much under every table, with the amount of staff there doing not a lot there's no need for the floor to be such a mess, shame we won't be back

Welcoming staff with a great, busy atmosphere. First thing on a Sunday morning, and it's virtually packed. That says everything it needs to say about Munchies. Not to mention the portion sizes are more than adequate for the price. First time visit, and it won't be the last.

We like your food and service. My favourite Lamb chops. Keep up the good work.

Popped in whilst car was being looked after around the corner, excellent food, very clean, very friendly atmosphere , good value for money.. Highly recommend.

We have had rather good food in this cafe. Worth a visit, clean, spacious friendly service. Visit and enjoy, particularly liked their lamb chops, chicken shish, liver and bacon is also excellent.
