Nando's in Chelmsford

I ordered Nando’s and always call the restaurant to confirm my order and make amendments which you cannot do on the app. My server Izzy is always making sure my food comes proper taking my specific orders and Sofia the chef cooked my food to perfection. Thank you to the manager Tiago for always making sure his colleague take all customers requirements seriously. Best Nando’s ever!!!

While I was waiting to be seated in the Chelmsford branch which is next to the kitchen I noticed one of the kitchen staff use a long wire brush to clean the grill. But to my horror after use the brush was placed back leaning on the side with the brush head directly on the floor. Yuck! Very disappointing Nandos. Please learn from this hygiene prompt. The brush was then reused to clean the grill that the chicken is placed on. The food is great but this is unacceptable.

Great food, great atmosphere, great people, been going and ordering take aways since it opened, it's a busy restaurant and I take my hat off to everyone at the Chelmsford branch, they all doing a fantastic job, thank you

I go to this nandos once a week and I'm never disappointed. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and the food is always well done. Great value for money, would highly recommend

Nandos in Chelmsford we’re really accommodating to me this evening, I’m disabled and in a wheelchair. I asked the lovely Christina where the disabled toilets were and I was informed they are upstairs but the customer lift if our of order. I said that it was fine but Christina said she would check with her manager if I could be take up in the staff service lift.So she returned and escorted myself and my partner all the way up there and kindly waited for us so she could take us back downstairs.Things like this and staff going the extra mile to help put disabled people like me is essential for a good dining experience. Thank you for being so accommodating.

I'm a big fan of Nandos plus this has to be the worse experience I've ever had. From the start I was made to feel like me having a baby in a buggy was an inconvenience. Not just 1 member of staff asked if I would like to leave the buggy apparently somewhere safe but 3 did. They asked if we would could eat upstairs and I refused due to not being able to manage the stairs and the lift was broken. Once settled at our table everything was fine until the food came and was dry. By this stage I just wanted to leave. What was a nice day out had been ruined by Nandos Chelmsford.Just glad that I will never have to go back to this branch again. Staff need training to deal with buggys and babies better.

On my last two visits, Luciano was an absolute gentleman and seated me at one of the booths as i requested, where I would have more space for my laptop. Great food from the kitchen and top waiting in Luciano.

Wanted to order online and collect, but for some reason the website wasn’t working, so I called and was told that it isn’t possible to order on the phone at all. Which is a stupid policy if something isn’t working (we did try from multiple devices). On top of that, only one member of the entire staff was wearing a mask, which is kind of disgusting given the current pandemic situation and made me not really want to eat the food..

Not only was the vegetarian beanie burger amazing, but the staff here are too!! Highly recommend Nando's, if in the area. Great seating area outside that allow pups to enjoy the area with you.

First time in UK, I tried the sharing meal. It was awesome and satisfying. Enjoyed with friends. Its reasonable and quality of chicken is always consistent. Highly Recommended. Yummy for the Tummy
