Peking Hors Doeuvre in Chelmsford

Usually good but on this occasion after spending £33 on a takeaway it appeared to be half of lunchtimes or previous days dishes reheated having to throw half of it away as inedible. Fobbed on the phone with the "it freshly cooked" quote when challenged offered a discount on the next order. ... Maybe time to find another takeaway.

It took a while to find a good Chinese takeaway in Chelmsford. Peking Hors D'oeuvre is by far the best. They do get busy so can't alway order takeaway (which says a lot about how good the food it). Delivery is usually super quick and the food really flavoursome.

Terrible customer service....been waiting over an hour for a delivery that was suppose to arrive in half that time. When we called to find out where the order was, the woman on the phone interrogated us as to why we hadn't received the food...then proceed to tell us that the food was delivered and she didn't know what to do. Upon speaking to the manager, they have refused to send us any food until they have 'storted' it with JustEat. We have still not received the food that we have paid over 50 pounds for, and are currently waiting on a decision as to whether they will honour it at all. Would not recommend and will never be using again.

Regularly order and food is always good and tastes fresh. Have only had one bad dish which was the Salt and Pepper squid which was very greasy. Really enjoy the shredded chilli chicken and they cater to my dietary requirements well

We have been going here for over 25 years and the food is consistently good. Also if you don't like a particular ingredient they will change for you. What I like is you can see them cook it and it's always spotlessly clean.

Do not order from here! I tried to order through just eat and they phoned me up after demanding a delivery fee. The lady on the phone was incredibly rude and gave information which contradicted the information provided on just eat. Terribly customer service and misleading information. Will not be ordering from here again.

Nobody opened a door to give me a food, when I called them they told me to wait. Terrible service! They've just messaged me that I can collect it now (half an hour late). I'm not going to order from them again!

Worst Chinese experience that i've ever had! Mundane food and charged me for 17 pounds worth of food that I did not receive but according to the staff I did not order it even with going through my order 4 times and them charging me for it (my order was nearly 80 pounds). Ruined our evening. Disgusting service & a rip off. Will never spend another penny with Peking Hors D'oeuvre again!!
