Always a great experience at Preto - especially when they have the midweek 241 promotions! I do wish they would go back to the pre-covid buffet though rather than needing to order sides from the menu. But all-you-can-eat meat - what's not to like?!

Food was good but, on this occasion, the restaurant was quiet. This meant that the usual pace, flair and variety of the meats on offer was not as good as it could be. I've visited many times during busier periods and had a much better experience. So, to sum up: excellent food, attentive staff and comfortable venue, just expect a little less and a slower experience mid-week.

You can eat at this place every kind of meat for one price.Full menu and kids menu in the house.

We went there on a Saturday evening at around 9pm. Not many people around but i guess because of the time. The menu shows plenty of choices. We went for all-you-can-eat meat option (this is not exactly how they call it at Preto but at the moment I dont remember the right name on top of my head) which comprises all the sides you like and ordered as many times you want. Quality of food was awesome. People running the restaurant were very friendly and the service was pretty quick too. Price acceptable as well.

Walked past this restaurant many times wondering if it would be worth the high prices, we finally went in for a mini buffet to find it hugely disappointing compared to an Argentinian buffet we often visit in Spain that offers meat in the same style. Due to only 2 other customers the same meat has done many rounds on the grill, and other meat we found to be quite repulsive. The only thing I enjoyed was the Pepsi, but even that was excessively over priced. At least I don't need to wonder anymore.

Overall I was dissatisfied with Preto. We were greated well and given a good explanation of how it works. It went downhill from there unfortunately.Firstly the cost of drinks... £3.30 for a 330ml can of drink, you get a can and a glass... for £3.30.After ordering the initial sides, we were left alone. If we wanted anything we had to ask the waiters who brought the meats - not the waiting staff who are paid to come and take orders. There were 4 bar and waiting staff when we visited and only 3 tables dining. The waiting staff were talking and laughing very loudly between themselves.We stopped ordered sides because we felt bad asking the meat staff to keep reminding their colleagues to do their job.The meats were largely cheap and tasted cheap. No seasoning and no salt on the table to season the meats.Ordering any sauces was the same as sides... the waiting staff left us alone and when we did ask about the sauces - the waiter didn't know and just said "it's not too spicy and not too sweet". That didn't help.This is not the type of service I would have tipped for to be honest, and it's rare for me not to tip. Fortunately for them, 12.5% is added to the bill.The overall experience was not good and we would not return to this restaurant.£70 for 2 meals & 3 soft drinks.

Lots of fun, with plenty to try and enjoy.Post COVID, Preto has removed their great salad bar and moved it to a menu. You can enjoy as much as you like, ordering small plates as you go. There's a wide range of interesting dishes. But then on to the meats which are the star attraction of which there are lots and all delicious.The restaurant is large and spacious, but can get warm. The sangria is recommended to cool you off!It's £25 for the standard experience, but discounts are available for students, cinema goers and people watching football. Come hungry as there is a lot of food!

The food was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. The staff gave us 10/10 service. We are very satisfied and pleased with the experience and will return back for a great dining experience!

Great place for some Brazilian food! You definitely get your monies worth. The meat was cooked and seasoned lovely as well as the fantastic range of sides that you get with your meal.The service was fantastic and the servers had a good sense of humour too. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this restaurant.

Very nice experience, Ruben, Cauan, Ana, Natasha and Matheus were really nice and made sure we stayed as comfortable as possible.The food quality was really good as well, probably the best I've had in England for some time.Good quality meat, really nice staff and some really good Portuguese beer (super Bock), it makes preto a restaurant you will, for sure, want to visit.
