Prezzo - Chelmsford in Chelmsford

Used walk-in service. Staff were very pleasant and we were found a table quickly. Menu has changed recently but choices still good and food quality was great. My only comment on restaurant and why not 5 stars is when busy it is very loud inside. Still, will not stop me returning to what I consider a great restaurant in centre of town again.

Lovely position near the river and we had a window seat. The whole experience was so positive. A very happy, helpful waiter put us at ease straight away and explained the menu to us and that the payment method was by card only. Important to know. I went to Prezzo with a friend who I haven't seen for sometime and it was an excellent choice . The menu for lunch, although fairly limited, was good. We had starters and a main course with a jug of water and a glass of white wine each. I chose the lasagne as a main and I can honestly say I was the best I've had in a long time.☆ The waiter was very amiable and we had a pleasant chat with him and a new waitress who was on her first day. We opted for coffee to finish, rather than pudding. As this restaurant is within walking distance of my home I shall definitely be paying more visits and recommend it to my other friends. First class !

Walked in with 2 kids at 3pm on Tuesday its half term. There's 4 empty tables plus a whole section empty. Maitre'd says he's full!! The family in front of us were seated without a booking. Not great customer service. We went to Bill's, for a much friendlier welcome!

Been a while since my last visit to Prezzo. Not usually a place I think of going as I usually prefer Zizzi for Italian. However, after last night's meal I would definitely highly consider returning next time I fancy an Italian.Nothing too adventurous. Went for Spaghetti Bolognese but it was exactly what I was after. Such a tasty dish.But yeah. Nothing too much to say as a whole but everything worked well to provide a wonderful meal.

Enjoyable meal with great service, a far contrast from Ask just around the corner!We were served by Catalin who gave excellent customer service was informed and focused on the job at hand and even made a couple of jokes. He insured our meal was delivered speedily as were our drinks!

Ordered online for my birthday meal, all cold pasta prawn dish in the box was open and the cake was missing! Awful. All disgusting I paid for two items one of which was missing and the other I could not touch. Never again! Ruined my birthday after an already bad day, thanks alot. I paid for items I didn't get and could not eat. Feedback was given to the restaurant but they didn't care. Avoid this and Uber eats

This was a place we ate regularly until today. Confronted by male front of house, we hadn’t booked and this appeared to be an real issue. He remained silent and cold. He grudgingly took our contact details then marched us to a table without speaking. Please book otherwise you’ll be made to feel unwelcome. Needless to say. Needless to say we voted with our feet and immediately left the restaurant.Totally unnecessary.

Good food and reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will be visiting again!

Great menu and great service, nice atmosphere and a pleasant place for dinner to catch up with friends. Food is always enjoyable and staff are attentive. Sometimes there’s a high demand as the restaurant is popular and full at times, the staff really seem to go over and above to ensure they provide service to all their customers! Amazing pasta! Wonderful atmosphere. Catia is so helpful and polite. I was looking for real italian food and finally i found a nice place. Good job people!
