Best Indian meal I have had in a long time, very good service and a lot of different dishes on the menu.

The food is always wonderful, and you couldn't get better Customer service. All the staff are very attentive to your needs and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend.

My favourite Indian restaurant.Love the place, the food is always fantastic.Great atmosphere, even with the COVID restrictions. The waiters are good, attentive, but not pushy.

Husbands curry was watery, my dhansak had hardly any sauce. Flavours were only ok. Have been eating Indian since 1979 and know that restaurants vary but this was disappointing.

Really enjoyed the meal and great service. Food tasted fresh and piping hot starters. For main we had 2 karahi(?), one garlic chicken chilli, the other garlic lamb chilli. Both great, lamb really tender. Paratha, garlic naan and rice with a side of bombay aloo. Will def be going again in the new future

Went here for a meal to wet the baby’s head. So there was a group of us. Food and service very good. However conversation drowned out by loud adjacent tables. Not a romantic venue for a couple. Maybe opt for a takeaway.

Lovely food, staff were brilliant, we had 23 people on our booking and we were treated great, the food all came out hot even with so many orders. Would recommend

Just ordered a take away on a busy Saturday night. Food was ready as the time requested. Decent portion sizes, great flavours and not doused in oil. The light colour on the onion bahjees were a sign of this. Looking forward to ordering again.

Every table and seat was full when I visited with friends, so the table the six of us were given was just about big enough. However the food was very good and the service amazing considering how busy the restaurant was. Thought it was good value and would definitely return. Only one gents loo, so gents were also using the ladies loo too, which wasn't the best. However food and service very good.

I'd seen good reviews of this restaurant and had been intending to visit since I moved to the area. I finally went with a couple of mates yesterday evening. The restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign. The Rose of India did not disappoint, the food and service were both on point. I can see this becoming my go to Indian in Chelmsford.
