So disappointed! Spent £80 and left feeling hungry. I should of read the reviews before I went!My husbands a chef and even he said the foods definitely microwaved, not fresh even tasted microwaved! Even down to the portion of sweet potatoes,I ordered an adult portion and when it came my daughters had more with her child’s meal AVOID so your not disappointed like we was I have informed them of my visit so they could rectify the visit but there’s no response plus the staff are rude 🤬

Faultless fish n chips, friendly service and beautiful decor. Thank you for a lovely evening meal enjoyed by the whole family.

They lied to us that the food wasn’t frozen even though u could tell it was, there was ice on my carrots and my veg was mushy, there chicken breast is a bit dry and the wait for food is sooooo long, I wouldn’t recommend it, the anchor is better

Very nicely decorated, very friendly and attentive staff and they do keep a good cellar. Only not give a 5 as I didn't have any food but from what I see other people have and what was on the menu it did look very good quality.

First time at the Bell for a few years. Now with a new car park and an excellent choice from the menu and specials board. Service and food was excellent which made our family get together just perfect, and dog friendly as well. We cannot wait to go back again, especially in the summer beer garden.

I really enjoyed the visit. The food was good, just sad there was no cod for cod and chips and it was haddock instead due to my allergies. I think there was good service and reasonably quiet. The service and the menu were both good. It was a bit cramped and the cod were the only things really.

This is my second visit since the refurbishment and both times was pleasantly surprised. Daniel and his team could not do enough for his customers. There was a really good selection of food including vegan food that was delicious and competitively priced. Will certainly go there again as soon as I can. Lovely food in a peaceful environment with a warm feel.

As always once in no problem, just getting from the car park to the pub you get your shoes coated in cement slurry from the car park and driveway, everything inside is great! Recommended.

·

Great pub, beautifully decorated, nicely spaced out and great food. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the children's menu is a bit pricey if they want more than one course. But otherwise love it!

Everything about this pub was fantasticThe staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. It is disabled accessible and the food is very tasty with big portions. We had loaded nachoes, fish pie, steak and kidney pie and fish and chips. To anyone stopping or passing through I thoroughly recommend this place. If I were a local I'd be here all the time.
