The Fox and Hounds in Chelmsford

We had a fantastic Mother's Day meal at the 🦊 & 🐕. The children's meals we're plenty and the staff we're very pleasant and friendly. Did feel the roast potatoes we're slightly over cooked but that's just nit picking. Only 4 stars because I don't really like the stuffed animals but the food and staff are great.

Excellent beer and food. Also excellent hosts. Made to feel most welcome

Excellent food, roast dinner was 10/10 The pub is decorated well, very inviting atmosphere. Staff were superb, friendly and attentive.

Wonderful surprise, never been, but will definately going back. Good menu, great value and the owner made you feel very welcome

Really lovely dining experience. Very attentive service from Jess - thank you. The chef was really accommodating for me as a vegan and Coeliac as well (something a lot of places really struggle with)! The portion sizes were huge and the food was delicious! Thank you for a great evening, we will most definitely be back :)

We hadn't booked and it was Sunday lunch 🤦‍♂️........... we were offered a high table and boy are we glad we took it. Ordered a veggie roast and turkey roast, it did not disappoint, beautiful. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. 👍👍👍

Lovely place, great atmosphere, friendly staff, food was top quality and plenty of it.

Wonderful pub Wonderful atmosphere the best entertainment and the best food 😀

I live a few doors away and don't visit enough! Always lovely food and very helpful, friendly staff. Loads of live music too, which is always great. I would highly recommend.

Great food very friendly and helpful staff would recommend and will definitely be going back soon
