Very enjoyable, food from outside catering Veg stall was delicious. Good selection on beer and great outdoor space.

Saw Frankly Burgers on Instagram so had to visit! Wow their burgers are sooo good looking and they taste awesome too! Fries are delicious as well and brilliant seasoning. The lovely waitress recommended the tonkatsu chicken wings so we got a large portion to share - they were so crunchy on the outside, moist inside and the sauce! delish!!! - will definitely be trying the tonkatsu chicken burger next time! We look forward to visiting again.

Popped in on a Thursday. Took our 6 year old with us to play on the fort in the garden. Followed by some of there frankly burgers. All very nice.

Lovely little pub to meet for lunch. A reasonable choice of food at decent prices.

Very limited menu and still items not available. Food OK but very expensive for what it was. Party of 4 and all dissatisfied. We will not return.

Friendly staff, wonderful surroundings, good food, great for families and kids.

Visited on Sunday 26 /09/21 no roast dinner and a very small menu order the burger and chips with side salad and quite honestly I’d would have been better going to McDonald’s the so could home made burger was more like a frozen Aldi burger and oven fries with a side salad to say it was limp would have been generous

Great village pub with a nice large garden and a play area for children. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good pub grub

On a whim decided to stop here for lunch part way through a walk. Table service in the garden - lovely Bear Island IPA, halloumi and chickpea salad, chips. Couldn't fault it.

Stopped at the Generals Arms as part of a Boreham / Little Baddow hike with family member, Ken. Friendly atmosphere and really helpful. Enjoyed the 2 pints as well! (with the Covid-19 precautions all in place)Been here before for food and enjoyed that experience. Definitely recommended based on my experiences so far. Thank-you to the landlord and staff.
