This place is such a gem, we've had delivery from there before which has always been amazing so as a treat we came here to eat in!We had so much food we had to take some (half) home in a doggy bag 😂Rivals some of the big dogs like the big easy in London.Only way to improve would be to have cocktails as an option! (Frozen slush ones?!) And maybe a few more craft beers and then we would be in heaven.Still it's 10/10Recommend the brisket, burnt ends, rib tips and pulled pork.

The barbecue food here is legit. Forget the salty bad reviews They're mad. This barbecue is as good as you can get, certainly in the area anyway my only complaint is the justeat markup. I'll deff be going to eat in one day.

Our local so we could be considered biased. Used to pop in though before we were locals and loved the atmosphere and food. Since changing to the smokehouse it's got even better and the Christmas special of smoked turkey baguettes are the best Christmas Sandwich I've ever had.

Wow..This place has improved since I visited 30 years ago! Cracking menu, loads on offer, good beers and really friendly / welcoming staff... it won't be another 30 years for my next visit

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the ‘smoked’ meat. I spent 30 pounds that I’m wishing I could get back. The meat was terrible and tasted awful. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Won’t be coming back as long as I live.

Great independent pub serving a range of American style smoked BBQ cuisine. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Large food portions. Definitely recommend a visit for food with family of friends, whether it’s during the week or at the weekend.I’ve visited several times. I recommend anything from the smoker menu. (Pictured is the Brisket of Beef) The loaded fries are almost a meal in itself! The pie option if it is on the menu is a great Sunday afternoon choice too. (Seems at the time of this visit there’s a slight change in the menu since covid lockdown, but if you’re lucky it might be back)

Outside parking for only 2 cars but there is a car park a short walk away. Although a pub, the food is restaurant quality. The short rib is very, very good. Burger was a little dry, but still tasty. Great atmosphere, music just right so you don't have to shout to be heard. Pleasant and helpful staff. Definitely recommend a visit.🥂
