Great value and good kebabs. We have chicken shish or mixed grill

If you have high standards I would ignore the rest of the reviews because I have eaten so many bad meals from here now.Its awful. Use to order from here all the time 5-6 years ago when they actually had standards. Now I remember why I stopped.Quality control in non existant now. You literally never know what you are going to get. Everything tasted weird! Incliding the garlic sauce. Not quite off but there is something very wrong. Had a lasagne and the sauce had a horrible sweet taste that I have never tasted in a lasagne before. Chicken meat was pretty old for the shish kebab. Honestly only reason I am writing this review is because this place was great it and they have let it go to pot.Never again! Hope I don't get sick!

The kebab is not bad from here so thought would explore the menu and was quite disappointed. Chicken wings come deep fried in batter but does not tell you that on the menu. If I wanted chicken in batter I would have ordered that and not wings. The spaghetti bolognese didn't have much bolognese and no cheese on it at all. For the price you pay I would deffo shop elsewhere unfortunately. The kebabs and pizza are good tho

The food from here is Consistently spot on.The meat high quality, the seasoning is perfect, the portion sizes are big and the prices are very reasonable!Always delivered quick and piping hot, keep doing what you’re doing - it’s best take away in chelmsford!(The mixed grill kebab is banging - could easily feed two people too!)

Outstanding. Tender, flavourful lamb and chicken, fresh salad, banging garlic sauce and good portions. Consistently the best kebab out there!

Despite asking for my kebab to be well done, crispy on the edges it only came up as normal so not sure whether they don't know what well done means or the whether the meats usually dangerously undercooked. To make things worse, both the kebab & chips were only luke warm, not piping hot, despite my car being parked outside so it's not as if I had a long walk or it was delivered.

Called up and asked for my lamb to be cooked pink. They delivered perfectly. High quality take way, would definitely recommend 🤙

Last night we placed our first order with the Olive Tree. We ordered 3 special keebabs and a chicken one. We assumed special was the size as there was nothing to say it wasn't just the size. When they arrived the special keebabs were ordered with no salad and no sauce but were covered with onions, peppers and mushrooms. My son rang them and explained that he had ordered plain keebabs with no sauce or salad and that his brother was allergic to mushrooms and was told well that's how the specials come ! My son explained that where it says special is where the sizes are and he assumed it was the largest and reminded the man he was speaking to that his brother was allergic and was told there was nothing he could do. I have searched the menu and nowhere does it state that the special is served with onions , peppers and mushrooms. I am disgusted with the reaction from the olive Tree and will not be recommending or using this restaurant again. I had to give one star to leave my review but I wouldn't give one if I had the choice.
