Attended a party night, staff were great and the food was excellent. Stopped over in a very comfy room and had a lovely breakfast the following morning. Will definitely go back to the restaurant for a meal. Would recommend 🙂

We’ve just had another excellent Sunday lunch at The Lion. Their roast pork is sublime! The place is warm and welcoming with excellent service. You need to get here early on a Sunday as it’s very popular and you may have to wait a while. A real find.

Perfection and more.... We had a business meeting last week and everyone loved the place. Food was great. Rooms were great. service was amazing. Can't fault it

We had a delicious lunch, chosen from varied menu and served by a friendly helpful waitress. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were able to move to the sofa after lunch to continue our conversation.Recommend for a nice lunch.

Went for dinner with some friends. You can’t book on a Saturday but that’s no problem as you can have a drink at the bar which has great selection of cocktails 🍸 while you wait. It’s a jig place so can be noisy when busy. The staff and food here is amazing. It never disappoints. Knock a star off for the super tacky red review tablet they presented the bill in. Feedback is good but maybe wait until it’s offered - like online reviews is personal customer interaction, not that gwady red thing 😬Still be back though as it’s a great place - just hope the new people don’t change it!

Serving staff are excellent, quality of food is good and reasonably priced. For the amount of covers they turn at peak times, pretty good. Will try again the Fish and Chips looked amazing.

Well what can I say other than a massive Thank you to Georgina and all the staff that helped make our wedding the most amazing day of our lives. The venue is superb, elegant yet simplistic, warm and inviting. The same can be said about that of the main restaurant and hotel also. This is an absolute gem of a business with a fantastic team to match.The food and service is brilliant and was enjoyed by all of our guests that attended.Hope to visit again one day soon.
