The Wine Cellar in Chelmsford

Lovely atmosphere, we very much enjoyed the live music - and the drinks!

Exquisite little hide out in the centre of Chelmsford.great ambience and wonderful wine. A particularly nice chocolate dessert wine.We visited one 13th April.rhe staff were so attentive and there was so much choice.The set menu was great value.I however, have a gluten and dairy allergy, and was offered a wonderful range of food including a dessert that wasn't sorbet. That really pleased me.Would I recommend? Absolutely

I really enjoyed it as I was with some friends who I had not seen for a long time. Didn't eat but was very happy with the drinks available and the general atmosphere.

Not really impressed by customer service we dropped one full pint by accident and never been offered to be replaced had to pay for it while staff was chatting at the counter and guests in restaurant had to come to ask for another bottle Glad that a position wasn’t offered to me

Amazing little place hidden away in Chelmsford. Went for drinks to celebrate my partners birthday. Wine and gin menu was very extensive. Each gin had a thorough description. It was great to try some new gins. Staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. Decorated bottle was a lovely touch and a great keep sake. Thank you.

One of the best restaurants in Chelmsford, wonderful atmosphere, very attentive and friendly staff, the food was delicious, pleased to see vegan options on the menu, food was perfect. Vast selection of wine on the menu and the cocktails were great - will definitely be returning regularly.

Went with the mrs last night for the first time, on a whim, unfortunately I didn’t get our waitresses name which is a real Shame but she is a diamond. Very helpful, very attentive. Even took the time to give us recommendations for other local independent places which helps! Food was great, well cooked, great flavour and decent prices. Looking forward to going back soon!
