Turtle Bay in Chelmsford

Had a lovely time with family whilst over from Barcelona. Will was a fab waiter, the cocktails flowed well and the food was very tasty.

Taylor was absolutely fantastic looking after us while we enjoyed the amazing food and 2-4-1 cocktails. The place has a great atmosphere which Taylor certainly adds to with her bubbly personality, sense of humour and professionalism. Highly recommend a visit if you're in Chelmsford and want a lovely meal.

Had a brilliant lunch at Turtle Bay. Lily our waitress was great, really attentive and lovely. All the food was really well balanced and so tasty. We shared some small plates and a jerk chicken main and had 2 for 1 Raspberry Reggae cocktails - will definitely be back!

Meals are good but then atmosphere was too noisy. People at the table next to us were very boisterous😤.

Our First time here and will be our last, very disappointed. We came for lunch met up with my son who is on his lunch break. The service was very slow, like it name “turtle” there was only one waiter and one bar staff. So it was understandable. But it wasn’t busy when we sat down we was 4th table in the restaurant. We waited over an hour and our main haven’t arrived. I mention to the waiter 10 before my son lunch break is over that my son is in a hurry to return to work. After ten minutes later still not arrived. In the end my son had no lunch had to leave. Our food came but was not worth waiting for my Jerk chicken was burnt on the outside and it tasted burnt on the meat. I couldn’t eat it. My husband salmon was cold. The coconut rice have no coconut flavor and it was cold. The table was sticky. So I wouldn’t recommend poor food, slow service, and if you are in an hurry definitely no no.

My husband and I had our first date in Turtle Bay and we've been together since then.He got chicken catsu curry and it has now become one of my comfort foods.If you're planning to go there on a Saturday, I recommend coming early or booking a table as their dishes run out very quickly.Ddeano really makes a difference with our experience every time we visit. He knows exactly everything we want and can recommend alternatives when they run out of our favourites.

I have no words to describe the service at this place except from exceptional. Ben, our waiter in the picture, went above and beyond to make my sisters 21st birthday memorable. Will be returning just for him, cheers geez. Marry me

Unbelievable food. Cocktails amazing, service was brilliant. Very accommodating as well, had our daughter with us and waitress kindly brought over some colouring pencils etc when she could see she was getting a bit bored! Really lovely place. Can't wait to come back x

Had heard good things about turtle bay bottomless brunch and my god it did not disappoint! Taylor was amazing she was so attentive. We sat outside by ourselves and normally you are forgotten about but we were not at all! The drinks were flowing, sometimes two at a time! And she was always there checking in that we were okay. All the staff were great as well it was such a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone!!! X

Visited Saturday 6pm. Lively, 241 cocktails till 7pm, good Caribbean food.Good veggie and vegan options.Staff member Ellie served us and she was very friendly.
