Yatzen in Chelmsford

Waited nearly two hours for our delivery kept being told it was on its way, they had a new driver. Driver eventually called but said they it had been In the car nearly 45 mins. I told them not to bother delivering it would be too cold and much too late!!!

Ordered a Chinese tonight 13th February for a valentines meal /50th wedding Anniversary meal in which I was very disappointed, I asked for no carrots in the chicken & cashew nut dish due to an allergy problem but there was an excessive amount in there, Also the the chicken was very dry and we was unable to eat it . It spoiled our evening very disappointed.Also it was very expensive.

Had a take away yesterday and was really impressed, nice fresh food, would definitely order again. Only 4 stars as delivery took a while (worth the wait though) 👍

I went into the shop and ordered quarter crispy duck, special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls.When I got home (15 minute drive) I could there was no spring onions/cucumber and most importantly there was no plum sauce. I wasnt able to go back. Pancakes and duck is very dry and is not edible. The chicken was very chewy.I will not be going back, totally wasted over £20

Very disappointed with yatzen tonight ! Been a customer since they have opened and had many meals and good memories in there restaurant ! Ordered our food at 5.30 tonight and it’s 8.10pm now !Have phoned three times and been told our food was on way , just tried to cancel as my family are hungry and I have children , then I was told they would not refund our money ! My family and friends will never order our food from them again!

Awful service! Ordered at 5:30pm and it’s now 8pm and still not received our order. Called up multiple times and says it’s our for delivery... out for delivery for over an hour? If it ever gets here it’s going to be freezing cold. Awful customer service

Want to give 0 stars. Avoid. There are no words for how awful the food I just had delivered was which was also half hour late. King prawn balls like I'd never seen, squashed, overcooked and full of grease. King prawn satay runny greasy satay sauce. Chow mein greasy. What a waste of money. Mostly straight in the bin.

Had a Sunday evening buffet here, I would certainly recommend it to anyone! The food was piping hot and the portions were sensible sizes too! The staff in here are always very polite and friendly and offer some great ideas on how to make the most of the meal.

Pancakes for the duck were oily. Crispy shredded beef tasted of pretty much nothing and left a bad taste in the mouth. We will NEVER order from there again! Some dishes were cold. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I can't do 0.

Best Chinese/Thai restaurant in town! Staff are warm welcoming with great service. The food is always fresh and very tasty. Inside is very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend. I do not know where the 3 stars came from the 1st rating? but seriously you are not used to good food!You must try the buffet and this is usually weekend all you can eat (Must not waste) must try the thai green chicken curry omg to die for. Also the Salty, chilly chicken fried wing. Regular customer. Thank you.
