Zorba the Greek Taverna in Chelmsford

Went for a family dinner tonight, great food, amazing service :) thank you for a lovely evening! The fried feta & orange cake are a must. First time visit, will definitely go again

Superb service, tasty food, and really attentive when it came to one of our group having dietary needs. Was great before COVID was a thing, pleased to see it's still way way better than initial impressions might lead you to believe. We had the Meze and it's stunning value for such a great spread.

Tucked away in the arches near Chelmsford station, this restaurant could easily be overlooked. It's worth seeking out though. The Kleftico had the most tender beef. Service was punctual and polite. Would definitely go there again

We wanted a quick-ish pre-theatre meal so shared houmous to start then between the three of us had two lamb souvlaki with rice and a chicken souvlaki with chips. All were excellent and the mains were a good size. The service was friendly and efficient. I was persuaded to try the home made baklava and the waitress was happy to give us a container to take some away.It was our first visit but we'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Really good Souvlaki pittas to take away, Great taste and bit portion too! Also eaten in which was great. If they served it with chilli sauce it would be 5 star!

Number one favourite takeaway & service for my family & I, for many years. Restaurant owner is an absolute gentleman, along with staff & delivery driver so very kind & helpful. We had a group of 28 of us for a family birthday party. We had a mixture of the menu and a few were vegetarian too. The restaurant catered for us so well. The food was tasty and served well. The atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended

The staff were amazing, the food was amazing. They catered for gluten-free and offered to cater more options if you call ahead. Couldn't recommend this restaurant enough! A must try!

Wow just wow. This hidden gem under the arches. We popped in here asking for a table for 4, even though they were fully booked they still accommodated us.The service was great ,the food was excellent and the atmosphere was like you were in greece. You won't be disappointed. Definitely worth a visit. I advise booking to avoid being turned away.Toilets are near the front door.Also i think there is a take away service

The staff are friendly, and it’s well priced. They don’t have a desserts menu which is a huge shame because their Baklava that you can taste is absolutely delicious. Food was ok, I found the main a little underwhelming (moussaka) but their starters of Halloumi and Feta were fab.
