What kind if place doesn't accept cards as payment? Probably did me a favour as it looked very grubby. Clearly laundering money. I would avoid and spend your money with a legitimate business.

Absolutely horrendous!! Food was bone dry kebab was greasy and obviously older meat terrible Absolutely shocking chips were old and dry i paid 38 quid just to throw it away avoid at all costs terrible food

I have had take away from the Albany on several occasions, all have been fresh, tasty and on time. Today I ordered the usual , it was an hour late,therefore cold, the fish wasn't fresh, the batter was solid and on top of that they failed to deliver the can of juice I have paid for. Really disappointed in this and will certainly have second thoughts about using them again.

Ordered fish, chips and savoloy today off Just Eat. Said they had delivered yet there was nothing delivered at all. No call, nothing left on the door step, no knock. When I tried to call (at least 10 times) no answer or they hung up. Got my money back off Just Eat minus the delivery fee and service fee so ended up paying £3 for no food from this place and a late dinner! Thanks guys, such amazing customer service!

Ordered for the first time tonight. Never again ☹️ some of order was missing. Over an hour later the missing pieces arrived after phoning them. Chicken kebab was nice but I ordered garlic mayo. It was not garlic mayo. More like tazatzki which I detest 😬 all food wasn't overly warm. Chips undercooked

Most of the order was great however the plaice came all soggy, had no taste and felt like i was eating baby food or porridge. It had very wet texture and was mashy. I got a refund through deliveroo. Whilst i understand that my food wasn’t perfect, mistakes happen and this should by no means discredit their business. Chips, kebab and saveloys were all wonderful on the contrary.

Battered sausage had very soggy and chewy batter, it looked a bit anaemic. Chips were underdone but at least they had a decent amount of salt and vinegar on them. Never had a bad kebab from them though. I would definitely urge you not to bother with the fish and chips though and I dont seem to be the first to have this feeling reading all the other reviews!

First time I've used this for s couple of years and was disappointed. Chips were soggy and a little underdone. The fish batter was also soggy. The fish meat itself was fine but just not cooked well. When they cook to order there's no real excuse.

Visited a couple of days ago and ordered Cod & chips. Apparently, according to the young lady serving, they only cook Cod to order. Food was wrapped well, drove the 5/10 minute journey home and have to say - food was fresh and delicious. Was very happy and we are going to try Chicken shish kebabs next to see how they compare to the Perfect Chef which we normally use and is very good.
