This is one of those rare, secret gems—authentic Syrian cuisine, made with care, and the tradition of hundreds of years. Falafel and More is proper soul food. Rich, healthy, and delicious food, prepared with the most modest ingredients.When I arrived, I asked Marwan, "Can you please put together a serving you'd suggest?" Without any hesitation, his eyes glowed with delight. They showered our table with a spread—though he was feeding his own family.The small restaurant radiated with the sun that afternoon. Still, it was the warmth, pride, and love this little Syrian restaurant brings to communities like Colchester that stayed with me as I wrote this the day after.Thank you, Falafel and More. The best falafel I've ever had. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options, eat in or take away. Great value for money and extremely nice staff. Colchester is lucky to have Falafel and More.

If you want to treat yourself to a really good quality food and enjoy it in an oriental atmosphere so this is your place . Food is freshly prepared, clean tasty and they are very freindly. Highly recommended

A lovely gem of Middle Eastern food.As a vegan, originally from Tel-Aviv, I am fussy when it comes to this cuisine, however; the standards are higher than expected! Everything we ordered was full of authentic flavours and more importantly - super fresh! Portions were generous and are great value for money.The owner was super friendly and hospitable, accommodating our requirements. Highly recommended.

I rarely get excited about food but this place has the most authentic traditional food ( I’m not Syrian but I can taste the spirit of an old culture through their food, environment, and the music)Highly recommending their coffee, herbal tea and desert.

Lentil soup is amazing! Ful mudamas beans are great, and the Fallafel is the best you will ever taste!

Delicious and filling with friendly staff. Portions are big so if sharing don't need 1 dish per person. You can always order more later. Extremely tasty. Will be returning.
