Asda Cafe in Colchester

Called in for a little bit of shopping and decided to have breakfast at the in-store cafe. Well don't bother out of all the reviews I have done this is the only one that is rubbish.i am sure the staff work hard but the menu is hidden behind by the counter so you do can't see the menu. The fresh cup of coffee came cold. The full English was cold and the area where you get the knife forks and milk from was very dirty. No black pudding or fried bread with the full English which is what I would expect as other cafes do them items with a full English. Not going to use the cafe again. Imo it was terrible and it ruined a birthday breakfast.

Asda full English breakfast £6.00 not including drink.Menu on the wall, print quite small, so i went for a full English breakfast, you cant normally go wrong with that, so I thoughtAwful breakfast, not worth the money. Sausages cold, fried bread soaking in oil, wasn't offered toast or bread. bacon undercooked. hash browns greasy.by the time I was shouted at ! to collect breakfast, no table service, my coffee was cold.I will never eat at this café again. I must add though, the coffee was nice.

Ordered shopping as I have injured shoulder and couldn’t get out to get out of the house my slot was 8-9 they messaged just before 8 to say they on the way followed by numerous messages so was waiting out front for it to arrive half nine it’s still not here and phoned up to be told they couldn’t find the address and therefore haven’t delivered the shopping they are unable to say when it will likely to be delivered so we have cancelled and are now waiting days for the money to go back in the bank I am very disappointed with asda colchester and judging my the many reviews seems like many others have had problems I definitely won’t be shopping at asda again

2 hours I have been ringing Asda pharmacy non stop ,I know they have busy periods but not non stop it’s disgusting,I am unable to go to the store so I don’t know if they have my prescription or not it’s 1/10

My grocery order was meant to arrive between 10am & 12pm today it is now 19.37 and still no sign! I have had no call no email to say its going to be late or not coming at all? There is no phone number to ring so how do I know that £100 worth of food hasn't gone missing and I'm still going to be charged? There should be a customer service number you can at least call. I order every week from asda. I thought it was be common decency to at least let your customer know what's happening!!!!!

Ordered online for delivery with timeslot for 8:30 to 9:30. They made me wait til 11pm and said it’s still going to be delivered and just delayed. Come at 11pm, no delivery, no updates on email or text. Nothing at all!! Had to call this morning for them to say order has been cancelled! Giving a 2/5 as in store, it’s always been a good shopping experience but wouldn’t recommend their delivery service.

NO STARS FROM ME ,I am disgusted colchester asda do Not order for delivery there service is appalling, I ordered for 7.30-8.30 to be waiting up all night with not a word from them to let me know there running late or not giving me my order, called customer services and they stated they was running late, I waited until midnight and nothing they didn't refund me and didn't bring my food this is somthing I had to chase up this is disgusting will never shop in asda again!!!!!

Good store but they did not have what we want like frozen hamza parata. Amd because of that i need to go a tesco. But it nice but tesco is more cheaper.

Like most superstores Asia is a nice big opened plan shop polite staff overall a pleasant shop I do like to shop here every time I can I would recommend with no problem.

We shopped in this Asda and decided to have a cup of tea and scones with cream and jam...well...big mistake the scones were atrocious, the cream was hard and not spreadable and there was no taste to it ☹
