Great food, great taste, great service. Generous portions.Contemporary clean environment, outdoor and indoor seating. Good air con too.Cant fault this. Could easily have been back in Hanoi.

Had an amazing meal here before heading to the Mercury Theatre for a show. Everything was supremely flavoursome. It came out super fast and we were able to eat and run (as we had arrived late). The staff were all absolutely lovely and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. If we lived anywhere near Colchester, I'd be there on the regular.

Been here multiple times and the food and cocktails are always spectacular. Love the atmosphere and interior design too. Recommend booking on a weekday though as the weekends are always super busy and noisy there, also if you love spicy food then I suggest asking for them to make it a bit spicier. Definitely pricier than some of the places in town

'Colchesters little hidden gem by the colne'Bambu is a lovely place to eat if your looking for amazing food!, my fave dishes are the summer rolls and the pork rolls and mixed grill bun vermecelli, the curry and rice are also delicious and theres a nice spicy kick to the curries and dips, the egg noodles and grilled chicken is also very tasty. The restaurant itself has a lovely, lively atmosphere and the staff are very attentive. If you can eat outside I would advise to , the garden and Colne lit up at night, it makes it the perfect date night. The cocktails are very tasty and compared to prices of some in town, cheaper.I have been a few times as I live nearby but will definitely be back again soon!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful; the lady even helped me prepare a cup of iced Vietnamese coffee.Food is not very authentic but still delicious. Tried vermicelli with chicken and summer rolls with prawn - they were so good!! Size is big too. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.

I can see why this place is popular. The service is good. The ambience and decor are nice. Food presentation is good. The prices are comparatively more expensive than London but there aren’t any other Vietnamese eateries nearby.Salt chilli wings could have done with a bit more flavour. Satay chicken is good. Pork spring rolls are good. I liked that the restaurant offers different style soup stocks. I was really looking forward to the bun rieu but was disappointed with how much fish sauce was put in it.

I was so positively surprised by this restaurant. I was looking for so long for this type of spring rolls and it was the best I’ve ever had in the UK. The food was so good and the place lovely too. I wish they were near where I live (Kent).

Haven't been for years. Great flavours. A bit more pricey but generous portions. No parking available though but worth coming back to...
