Had a lovely meal, we were looking for a great Chinese restaurant and we found one, I was so impressed, the location is lovely the staff are very accommodating we had the set menu which was fantastic food was plentiful and service was quick and efficient, it was a lively atmosphere and seating was nice a selection of roomy booths and traditional tables, I would definitely recommend and go again. Well worth a visit!

Excellent, authentic Cantonese cuisine. Easily the best I've had in the UK - and I lived in London for over a decade. The dim sum is fresh and beautifully presented. The roast meats are a highlight. Service is professional and courteous.

Always good service and excellent food. Larger groups will need to book as it is very popular.Probably the best Chinese food I've had. And always of the same taste and standard.Good size portions of fresh flavour sum food.Good selection of vegetarian food along with the pork. Beef. Duck. Chicken or seafood. What ever your choice.Large carpark. Easily accessible from London road Stanway. Approximately 5 minutes off the A12.

Always great to visit Banquet Chinese when back home in Stanway. Now living in Hong Kong for more than 11 years and Banquet Chinese never fails to meet up to some of the best restaurants we have in HK. Tonight we especially loved the Mashed Tofu with Shrimp and Spinach and the Dover Sole which was very meaty and fresh.

Outstanding Chinese, truly a hidden gem of Essex. One of the finest places for Peking Duck in the UK. Try the prawns in special fruity salad sauce - they’re a revelation! Everything is delicious and the staff are delightful. Fantastic value for money too.

The Banquet is a delicious dim sum parlor with everything you'd want to satiate those Chinese food cravings.Inside, the interiors is made to look traditional Chinese. On a Saturday lunchtime, the restaurant was not too busy and we were able to find a table with no waiting time at all.Service was pretty quick and the food was delicious, arriving streaming hot as one would expect.I have no complaints whatsoever and, I can verify that The Banquet as a good choice for dim sum for the whole family and groups of friends to enjoy.
