Carluccio's - Colchester in Colchester

Lovely staff and wonderful food.We were a party of 9 (5 adults and 4 children) without a booking and staff were accommodative. Also staff were very attentive with a dairy allergy.

Situated at the top of Fenwick's with great views over Colchester especially if you get a window seat. Service is always prompt and polite. Food is good and reasonably priced. We had a traditional breakfast which was really nice. Coffees have shrunk a bit since our last visit. Great place to eat.

A nice Italian restaurant in Colchester. Not very good food (salty bread, dried chicken, tasteless spaghetti), but price is reasonable. Only recommend mushroom soup for starters!!!

I've never just popped in for a coffee...but definitely will again. Lovely friendly staff, excellent service, beautiful presentation and yummy cake.Very clean and presentable seating areas.Would highly recommend.

Superb breakfast! I never normally have scrambled eggs out as they’re never normally as good at home, these were silky and gorgeous. Top quality herby sausages, crispy pancetta and delicious mixed mushrooms. One of the best breakfasts served in Colchester and in my top all time breakfast list. Also when you add a hot drink and juice for £11.50 it’s good value for money. I actually had an extra sausage and smashed avocado and was stuffed. Yum will definitely go back!!

Pleasantly surprised at how good carluccios is, friendly and welcoming reception from manager and staff very attentive and efficient.Food on the two occasions delicious hot and well presented as are the cocktails.I would happily eat here on my visits to Colchester and would probably even make a special trip to do so.Five stars well done you have a great team

Pleasantly surprised! There are a number of places to eat in Colchester so making a choice of where to go for lunch isn't easy. We decided to try Carluccio's as we hadn't been there in such a long time and as it's in Fenwicks, a little mooch around afterwards wouldn't hurt.Ambiance is nice, modern and clean with a range of places to sit depending on your party - we sat right next to the big windows which overlook a small part of the town.Our server was great - attentive, genuinely nice and efficient.Overall, the menu is great. There's variety which is key, so choosing isn't always the easiest. My party decided to go for a variety of smaller plates with sides and salads. The picture below is of the focaccia with burrata and n'duja - stunning! Also, being a little fancy, we tried a few of their mocktails - a perfect lunchtime aperitif.Definitely will pop back as the breakfast menu and selection of sweet treats looked 👌🏻

Totally a remarkable place, five stars from me!The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, the restaurant was very clean and very well laid out, giving each table privacy, the food was very well served, my partner and I had a lunch time special, at a very fair price,

Usually I wouldn't review a place on a first visit, however Carluccio's was absolutely brilliant! A fantastic cosy atmosphere high quality food with fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices, the staff were accommodating to all the people dining in, and I have to say, I had a brilliant time! :)

Amazing food. Had the lunch set menu which has some lovely options for an indulgent 3 course meal out. Affordable at under £20 a head (3 courses and drinks). Would recommend and go again.
