China Garden in Colchester

The best noodles in Colchester, everywhere else they are dry & in metal containers, I like my noodles wet with lots of soy sauce which if you ask they do for you , they are divine and come in plastic containers which keep your food piping hot for ages ,nothing is to much for the staff, if you want a certain ingredient taken out or added they will always do this , everything we have had from there is cooked fresh and we have never had a problem and we buy from there twice a week, highly recommended ….

Lovely Food as allways. I know this as from a child 20 years ago , Showing my age lol they are still here lived in Roach vale round the corner 1995 & remember the family getting together ordering from china garden every year, Christmas, New years or any special family event i would allways have a smile on my face, So keep it up guys the crispy chilly beef tonight was delicious xx

Have used these guys many times before but this time it didnt hit the mark. For example the hors d'oeuvres prawn toast was very greasy,chicken had little taste and pork ball batter wasnt quite right. However it was fast delivery.

Me and my family are regular customers, we come here and order the same thing, most times, as it is perfectly cooked and delicious to eat! We normally order 2 hot chicken chow mein and shrimp chow mein. They have very good service and they really take care of their customers food. Sometimes we're so tired of waiting for other food we come in on Mondays by accident😂. But other then that I give them 5 stars, for reasonably priced food.

Hello, just been to China Gardens to get my dinner: the pancake roll was just oil, and inedible, the lemon chicken tasted like it had been out on the side for too long and was not heated properly, really it was rank. The rest of the food was brilliant Have tried calling several times to report this but your line is not going through.

Best Chinese Ever!!! I hesitated when I looked at the other reviews, but i decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed, the chow mein is a very large portion compare to other chinese. The Salt and Pepper chicken is absolutely amazing. Chicken balls are very crispy and tasty, I think the people who said its bland must be used to other over salty chinese out there. Spend £35 for a nice meal for a family of six. What more can I ask? yummy yummy.

Wow, where do I start.Worst chinese, in fact worst meal I've ever had. Had a strange taste throughout like the oil hadent been changed in weeks.The rice... omg the rice. Like eating wallpaper paste, must of been 10 mins overcooked. If they can't get the rice right you know you're in trouble.Chicken balls were infact crispy however what greeted me inside was not chicken, tasted like there cat died and they decided to cook it to save on costs.Quite expensive also, not expecting a Michelin star meal, just something edible.Cannot recommend, not fit for man nor beast.

Ordered spring rolls and 2 hot &sour soup. The spring rolls were so oily that there was a puddle of it at the bottom of the bag and as for the soup- it was basically spicy brown gravy with a couple of bits of hard meat thrown in, one prawn and two or three scraps of veg! Disgusting, will not be going back!

Absolutely Disgusting Never to return chicken balls was not chicken if it was it was weeks old and been cooked so many times.Ribs terrible burnt that we could not pick anything off them.we didn't even entertain the rice .I did to complain but the person on the other end of the phone just said the manager was not there and i told him i would rite a review he just was not Bothered .so please take my word for this I have never had such bad trash never to return

Ordered 2× set menu C £11 per person, only to received one full set menu C and one chicken with black bean sauce with pancake roll, leaving out 2 dishes from the menu. Then telling me that I won't get a better deal when I'm missing food that I had paid for. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.
